Silently the phantom trails along the borders of Imperium, her small form cloaked by the thick fog that engulfs the soulless forest. Tonight is eerily stilled, especially without Marco following her every move. The moon is hidden behind dark clouds, and the humid air smells like rain. Perhaps her scent would remain faint enough for the alpha to ignore... But strong enough for Nagendra to pick up. She came here with hopes that he would smell her perfume and come to the border on his own. She doesn't want to call for him and his alpha show up instead to investigate. Answering questions wasn't on her agenda, but asking for his help was. He was one of the few wolves in Alacritis she somewhat trusted, so hopefully he would be willing to help her search for Marco. If luck was on her side maybe he had seen Marco and could point her in the right direction. Even if he said no it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Since his return to Imperium, the sleek brown male had taken more and more to thoroughly exploring the other lands in the immediate area. It was quite a nice place Valentine had chosen. He’d thought so before, but was brought to repeat it in his head each time he found some new little nook he enjoyed. The Shrine, the variety of forests… All lovely places. There wasn’t a moment when he grew bored of it all.
So it was with a settled contentment that he strolled around outside of Imperium, seeking to have a simple walk and maybe catch something small to bring back. He wandered from midday until the sun had gone down, finding himself at the eerie forest that lay on the outskirts of the knolls. It was there that he picked up on a familiar scent. Fiamette. Perking interestedly, he set about to find her.
Another few minutes of silent stalking through the forest, and he would spot her petite form. He would attempt to approach silently, not calling out from afar but trying to get within a few feet of her. ”Found you,” he’d announce himself gently, the faintest of smiles upon his muzzle. Had she been looking for him? Waiting for him? No call had been made though, so, perhaps she just happened to be around. Either way, he didn’t suppose she’d mind his presence. At least, he hoped not.
