Voltage Elementas Voltage Elementas was a manchild. He loved to play, he loved to run. He adored parties, adored fun, and absolutely loved to get into mischief. It didn't matter that he was pushing middle age, no. But what he absolutely loved the most was his family. He loved to see them happy, loved to see them having fun, and lately that has been rather...hard. With the loss of his daughters, with the birth of Glaciers and, most recently, the flood of their beloved beach things have gotten quite....serious. And serious was no fun. So in the light of everything, with the wedding plans on the future and he and Gaia getting even closer together. With the almost his entire family coming together again, things were getting...better. And he wanted to celebrate in his own silly way. So when the thought struck him, he couldn't resist. He hadn't told anyone, not even Gale, though she was keystone to his little game. He and Gale were probably the fastest in the pack, and that was necessary. So without further ado, Volt trotted off to his new favorite rock and perched atop it. He smirked to himself, hoping everyone would join in on the fun, and he threw his head back, calling his family together for a little game to kick off the celebrations. The Rules hello everyone! Welcome to Dono's first annual game of Tag. How this will work is everyone that WANTS to join in has exactly one week to post. That means 7 days from whatever time and date you see on this post. Once everyone posts, Mouse and I will pick teams. Team Voltage and Team Gale. Then everyone will scatter. Voltage will chase everyone from Team Gale, and Gale will chase everyone from Team Voltage. Every wolf we persue we will roll a dice or random number generate a number between 1 and 6. Evens: Evade Odds: Tagged Everyone that has been tagged are then out! We can only chase everyone once, so if you evade you win one point. The team with the most evades, or points, will get a group table drawn by yours truley showing your awesome tag winning abilities. Solaris lifted his head and his ears perked at his older brother's howl. He had taken a rare moment away from Selini's side to take a walk around the territory and enjoy the sunlight. The only thing he liked more than the sun was his family so this was a pleasant turn of events for him. Of course he had no idea what Voltage could want, but he was happy to hurry toward his brother none of the less. He arrived quickly and was surprised to see that he was the first to arrive for once. He smiled at Volt and his tail wagged slowly behind him as he settled onto his haunches. "You look extra mischievous today," he commented with a chuckle. He was glad to see Voltage back to his playful ways. It felt like the clouds had finally drifted away so the sun could shine brightly again. Speak Thought Others

Terrae Elementas Hearing the howl of his elder brother, the healer rose to his paws and carried himself to its source. He was fully expecting a meeting of some sort to discuss the current situation with the flood. Surely his sister would be promoted to the Dulus rank, seeing as the epidemic tied in with her element so perfectly. He was expecting some serious news to be exchanged, like when the beach might clear up, though he arrived to find the lightning-marked male grinning ear-to-ear. Either he was in such a humorous mood in such a difficult time or something was truly up. "That shouldn't be such a surprise," he murmured to his younger brother with a smirk, looking up at the Ferax and awaiting the rest of the family's arrival. "Terrae speech" "Silvius speech"

Gale Elementas Walk | Talk | Think Gale had been nearby, resting out in the open during a rare moment of calm that enabled her to catch a quick nap instead of her usual restless pacing that took up the rest of her time. An ear twitched as she came to, blinking open her pale, grey-green eyes with a wide yawn as her brother's howl registered while the last remnants of it faded through the air. Rolling to her stomach, the petite, grey and lavender wolf stretched and considered what they might be called together for. It was still unusual that they be gathered together in any groupings if not for something important...and since getting the beach opened up to her was something she was most eager to hear, it was where her thoughts went first. With high hopes, the Aertus woke quickly and hurriedly pushed herself to her paws, gave her sleep-disheveled coat a quick shake, and took off at a lope. She spotted Voltage first, perched above a small gathering of siblings atop a rock that he must have claimed as a temporary replacement to the one that sat upon the shoreline - still currently buried under water. By the time she reached them, Gale was awake enough to realize that Voltage had some scheme plotting away behind his mischievous smile, and though she was not entirely sure it boded well for her own hopes she was no less curious. "What's a surprise?" she asked, picking up on the tail end of the conversation that Rocky appeared to be having with Sunny and hoping it was not about something that she might have already missed.

Walk | Talk | Think

It was not so much the howl that had drawn the attention of the girl but the sight of the wolves that were presently gathering within the Prairie. More often than not, the lot of them tended to be off in many different directions, too many to follow in one day, and seeing all of them - or at least in this case some of them - gathered together was a special occasion in Rory's book. Her curious gaze shifted between the faces of her relatives, but eventually rested on one in particular. Seated atop a rock, looking somewhat important with the others standing around beneath him, she spotted the grey and yellow wolf that seemed to pal around with her father a lot, and was instantly drawn to him. What was he smiling about? And why did the others stand about around his rock? What were all the grown ups up to?

She was not old enough to comprehend, nor could she quite hear the conversations that were going on among them, but it did not stop her from marching right up to the group and eyeing them all with open curiosity and not a hint of hesitation. These were relatives after all, wolves that she knew her parents romped and played and did serious adult stuff with. She could do that too, right? The fun stuff at least? Her ears swiveled vaguely as she looked about the faces of her aunt and uncles, but as her golden eyes alighted on Voltage she offered him a big grin. Whatever the grown ups were up to, she intended to find out what it was.

Locha Elementas Locha stared down into the depths of the cave that led down to the beach. The apparently still-too-flooded-to-try-and-explore beach. She'd strutted down into it's murky depths, hoping for a fairly straightforward trek down, but alas, she was now drenched from head to toe. Now under normal circumstances this would be absolutely fine, enjoyable even to the woman. But, being soaked in stale and muddy water in a pitch black cave did not equal fun. She'd immediately trudges back up the slope, only to hear a call coming from her brother. Immediately a smile was on her face, her dripping fur forgotten as she raced towards her family. Locha arrived to this small meeting. Smiling at her siblings, she approached, tail wagging happily. She looked to Voltage, spotting a playful glint in his eyes. Uh oh. Shaking her head slightly, Locha sat on the outside of the clearing, not sitting too close to anyone in case the slick mud on her fur decided to latch onto anyone else. "speech"

Glacier lifted his head in surprise when Voltage called. He hadn't been aware of any pack meetings happening today – and therefore this could only have something do with the things he and Locha got up to and planned. Something fun, rather then the seriousness of the day to day pack duties. The Alpha grinned, shaking his head as he nuzzled his wife, and stuck his head out of the cave, shaking his head in exasperation when he realized not one of his children where in sight. He spent a few moments rounding up Sera, but of Aurora there was no sign. Shaking his head, he knew there was no point howling for his girl. But. Perhaps... he could use the gathered wolves to help find her. With that in mind he ushered Sera towards the meeting, pausing on the outskirts when he saw that his daughter was already there. He nudged his eldest in her direction before he moved to stand beside his litter mate, raising his eyebrow he looked first at the energetic boy beside her, before looking out at all the wolves before them. “Your probably wondering why we called you here today” he started, before he grinned cheekily and took a step back “Because I am too. Volt?” he wondered "Burn Baby Burn"

Chasing butterflies was one of her favorite activities. She liked the shine of their wings above her head, and the feel of the soft wind of their flight. Chasing them was also a lot more plausible then chasing birds, who's shadows outpaced her in moments. Butterflies where more fickle creatures, fluttering this way and that – it suited her personality better to chase them. It was this that had led her away from the den and exasperated Glacier when Voltage called for them. It wasn't long before he found her, and when he learned she did not know where Aurora had gotten up to he was quick to drag them to the meeting. Her eyes lit up when she saw her sister and it took little prompting to send her to Roar's side. "Speech"

Selini Elementas Not surprising to the moon vixen her days were not totally spent by her brother's side. Especially since she was supposed to be helping her family to earn her rank back... Not that anyone had given her any tasks yet... So instead she had decided to spend her time napping, it allowed her to catch up on her time spent basking in her element again. Still it didn't take much for her older brother's call to rouse her though it could also have been the movement of her family. Yawning and stretching Selini cast starlight gaze about looking for where the gathering was being held. Finally she sauntered towards the group in time to hear Glaciers comment. Quirking an eyebrow up at Voltage she wound her way through the gathered group and found herself at her twin's side, she gently nudged him but didn't speak.. "speech"

Walk | Talk | Think Motherhood had certainly changed things, but it had not diminished Anais's need to be productive. She loved watching over her children and cherished every moment she had with them, but even already she could see that they were becoming more independent, more inclined and unafraid to strike out on their own. It made her miss when they had been helpless little babes, unable to leave the den and only ever needing her there beside them, but she knew this was good. It meant they would soon learn about the pack from their experiences with their family members, and would begin their journeys to find out what they wished to do in the bigger scheme of things. It also meant she was becoming more and more free to begin her own work again. Though she tried still to keep an eye out for the girls, she had taken up monitoring the Prairie, noting how the full time presence of the pack had changed the habits of the prey who lived there. She figured she would need to devote some time soon to seeing what could be done about it, but as a howl rang out over the spring field she knew it would have to wait. Voltage was calling them together, and she was interested in hearing what news he had to tell them. It took her a bit to make her way toward the gathering that she saw collecting amid the grasses and surrounding a rock, on which stood Voltage with a suspiciously bright smile. As if the expression was infectious, Anais found herself beginning to smile too as she approached her packmates and family members, delighted even more when she realized both Seraphiel and Aurora were there as well as Glacier. For a second she hesitated - almost she went to join her two daughters, but that would have ruined the little streak of independence they were currently exuding by standing on their own amid the gathered wolves. Instead, she maneuvered her way to Glacier's side, offering his shoulder a quick nuzzle as she looked upward into his face brightly and then turned expectantly toward Voltage.

Voltage Elementas He grinned brightly as they came together. Some were missing in action, but he knew that they all had their own tasks and things they had to do so he wasn't overly worried. He smirked as they gathered around his grasslands rock, tilting his head at them but only answering there questions with a cheeky little grin. They would get their answers soon enough. When Selini joined in he grinned brightly at her, stormy eyes glittering. Wonderful! Even the absent moon was joining in. He was excited! When Glacier spoke he rose a brow to his brother before a booming laugh burst from his chest. There would be no way his brother knew what he was planning, and he got a kick out of it. He lifted a paw to push at Glacier's massive shoulder, but remained quiet. So when Anais made an appearance he did a quick headcount and nodded to himself. Yes, perfect! "Alright!" He began, his grin never leaving his face. "Since last season totally sucked, and our beach got flooded out, we haven't been doing really fun things lately. So I decided we're going to play a game whether you all like it or not." He said with a boyish laugh, looking at each one of them and hoping to quell any protest with his gaze. "We are going to split into teams and play a little game of Tag! To make it fair only...Gale!" He picked happily, eyeing his windblown sister. She should enjoy this. "Only Gale and I will be it. One team will be team Voltage and the other team Gale. Gale and I will chase everyone on the opposing team, and you will either be tagged or somehow manage to evade us. The team with the most tags loses!" He said with a toothy grin then, standing up on his rock as his energy spiked. He fidgetted on his paws, unable to sit still as his tail swayed excitedly behind him. "Team Voltage will be Anias, Terrae, Aurora and Solaris. Team Gale will be Locha, Selini, Seraphiel and Glacier. You will all get ten seconds to scatter before Gale and I start the chase!" He said happily, waiting a few seconds before he smirked. No one had any choice. They were all going to have fun,or they would have to deal with a very crabby Voltage.  "Go!" He boomed, shouting like a canon and expecting them all to scatter as he looked to his wind loving sister expectedly. "Hope you're ready to lose, sister." He teased happily. SCATTER!! No posting order, please. Team Voltage: Anias, Terrae, Aurora, Solaris Team Gale: Locha, Selini, Seraphiel, Glacier. You all have one post to scatter then Gale and Voltage will give chase. Keep posts short and sweet, don't mind posting order! Mouser and I will probably be posting more often than you guys so this thread will have a bit of a different set up. Say Voltage chases Selini, and Gale chases Terrae. Only Voltage, Gale, Terrae and Selini need to post in that round. (you can post a reactive post if you want, if you aren't being chased, but its not required) The wolf being chased has Three Days to respond to the post. We will state at the end of our post whether you roll/randomize an evade or a tag. If you do not post in those three days it will be an automatic tag. Have fun!!

Rory glanced about absently as others arrived, and only seemed to react earnestly when she spotted the tall, grey and blue figure of her sibling. Her ears perked atop her head and her golden eyes brightened as a wide grin stretched toothily across her face, tail immediately thumping away against the ground. A paw lifted, as if she considered marching over to her sister, but there was no need. Sera came to her, and with a happy, growling whine she expressed her joy in having her there, brushing her cheek roughly against her sister's shoulder as she became momentarily distracted from the meeting at hand.

Voltage explained the gist of their game, but the very blue child only faintly heard a mumble that was his voice, incoherent in her inattention. It did not quite matter anymore that their uncles and aunts were gathering here - or even that Uncle Voltage continued to grin like a madman. Sera was here! And she always had some fun game or adventure up her sleeve.

Only it became clear after a moment that Sera was not the one leading this adventure. With the directions given, the game went underway, and as the adults began to scatter noisily Aurora finally realized that the group was breaking up. She sat up a little straighter, turning her head hurriedly from side to side as she tried to follow the movements of her aunts and uncles, even her parents as they too jumped up and spread out. Everyone was going; except her! Wishing to be a part of it, Rory leaped quickly to her paws and glanced at her sister as she dashed forward, grinning with her tongue lolling as she looked around to see whether she was doing this new part of the meeting right.

Walk | Talk | Think The smile upon Voltage's face was infectious, and Anais found it impossible not to smile back. She said expectantly listening as he addressed them all and at last revealed the big secret of their meeting: a game of tag! The silly notion drew out a quick laugh from the PraeVilendis, delighted by the idea and the bout of fun it would bring for the Elementas family. Too much bad luck had clouded over their typically happy family for too long, and this would certainly go a long way to brightening the lives of the family members. Her ears perked as the rules were laid out and the teams chosen, and her smile turned mischievous as she realized she was placed on Voltage's side. She glanced once at the second team captain, not the least bit surprised to see Gale grinning about as madly as her brother and loosening her shoulders with a few rolls. Goodness, out running her was going to be a miracle, if it could be managed at all! But Anais was a hunter, and naturally agile on her feet as well. She hoped to put up a good fight, if nothing else. As soon as the group was released, she offered a quick kiss to Glacier's cheek in passing before springing into a lope to put distance between herself and the rest of the runners. She glanced over her shoulder and sought out the forms of her children, spying Aurora readily enough as the blue child bounded across the prairie with a searching look, as if seeking reassurance. "Just like that, Aurora!" she called out to her through a smile, nodding her head once she caught her daughter's eye. That seemed to do the trick. Earning a smile in return, Anais searched for Seraphiel next and wondered when Gale would make her move.

Ray sat beside her sister, ears perked sharply towards the golden wolf as she listened for the both of them. She was a little surprised that Aurora and her would be in different teams, but if only Gale and Voltage where doing the chasing she couldn't see why she and her sister couldn't run together. Their mother called out to Aurora, and Sera grinned up at the autumn wolf. Sera was gonna beat this game, she wasn't going to let Voltage anywhere near her. She puffed her chest out proudly, tapped a paw against Aurora, grinning at her sister, her shinning eyes seemed to say we stick together and then she was off, running across the Prairie with the intent of losing herself in the game, or winning. "Speech"

Glacier looked out blankly across to his siblings, as he admitted having no knowledge of this meeting. It was fun actually, and a little exciting. What mischief was Voltage planning for them? He found his eyes seeking out Locha, partner in crime to party planning Voltage, to see if there was any evidence of secret knowledge in the woman's eyes. She looked as amused and mystified as the rest of them. Luckily Voltage didn't leave them waiting long, otherwise Glacier might have wrestled it out of him. He listened as his brother spoke, shaking his head in amusement. Tag, really? Perhaps he had sought out the wrong pair of eyes when he had looked for answers, Gale seemed much more like a partner in crime in this instance. The brute wasn't made for speed, but he had stamina, and he could pick up speed slowly and steady, and turn into a terrifyingly unstoppable force if he really got into it. Shame it was Voltage against him, he would never be able to intimidate Voltage with his heavy run. Knowing he needed a head start, the moment Voltage said go, he began to run towards Ray, seeing she had every intention of staying by Aurora's side, he changed course, steering close enough to nudge each of his daughters with his nose as he ran past. Anais was already fleeing, and he began to work to put distance between himself and everyone as well. "Burn Baby Burn"

Terrae Elementas The lightning-marked male only grinned at their questions, making the healer roll his eyes playfully. It seemed even Glacier knew nothing of his schemes, which would soon spill from the leader's lips. Voltage appeared desperate to lighten the family's mood, who had all been feeling quite down since the flood. A game of chasey was what the male had in mind - the chasers being himself and Gale. He sent a nervous look to the smaller female. She was by far the fastest of them all, and the healer himself wasn't so great of a runner. As long as he prayed his limbs wouldn't start aching, he would be safe. When it was time to scatter he wasted no moments hesitating and bounded away from the two chasers. He planned to stick on his own, run to a secluded part of the prairie and keep away from Gale's sight. It would be handy if he found a little nook to hide in, and just waited there for the remainder of the game. He wouldn't have to run so much and panic when chased. But what fun would that be? "Terrae speech" "Silvius speech"

Solaris' ear twitched at the sound of someone coming up behind him and soon he felt his twin's nudge. He'd smile a little and turn his head to gently press his nose to her cheek. He'd then look back toward Voltage to listen and see what he had up his sleeve this time. His brows raised in surprise as they were assigned a game of tag and he chuckled quietly at the idea. He wasn't too much of a runner, but hopefully he could hold his own! They were divided into teams and as soon as their older brother said "go" he hopped up onto his paws. "Good luck, twin!" he said softly with a chuckle before running off through the grasses of the prairie. Speak Thought Others

Locha Elementas A few more family members trickled into the "meeting", although Locha doubted that's what it was. Her tongue lolled as she caught her breath. Blue eyes immediately latched onto Volt as he began speaking. A massive game of tag? She laughed,jumping to her feet. This would be fun! Locha quickly looked around at her team mates, and then the space around them. She was far from the fastest of her siblings, thanks to her short legs, but if she wasted no time in the get go, maybe she could run faster. Therefore, when Volt boomed "GO!", Locha did just that, sprinting as fast as she could, the grass whipping against her muddy fur, not daring a glance behind her. "speech"

Voltage Elementas Volt watched as his family began to scatter, a grin upon his lips as he sat there, waiting, giving them a chance to get as far away from the two speedy Elementas. He eyed his violet marked sibling, a smirk upon his lips. "Ready? Three...Two..." He stood on his paws, bending his hind legs as he eyed the wolves in Gale's team, stormy eyes settling on a certain sister of his. "One!" He barked happily, signalling that it was time for the two taggers to run. He hopped off his prairie rock and lopped towards the moonlit Elementas, a grin on his lips. "I'm coming for you Selini!" He barked excitedly, his paws pounding heavily against the earth. He loved the happiness on everyone's faces, the excitement they seemed to hold. This was what their family was all about, this fun and happiness. This freedom to laugh and run and play a whimsical game of tag. No posting order, please. Chasing: Selini Rolled: A three! Gale Elementas Walk | Talk | Think Oh, she absolutely loved this idea! The moment Voltage got to the heart of his explanation - and Gale realized that she would be a part of it - she could not stop smiling. It was not a soft smile, or at least not entirely. She was excited, yes, and she loved that her whole family would be involved, but she was also competitive by nature. Racing was her thing! She had to win, she had to tag the most of her siblings - and other family too! - before Voltage did. She just had to. Her paws itched as her brother did their countdown, and Gale danced around on her feet impatiently. C'mon, c'mon, let's go already, she pleaded, her grey-green eyes staring fixedly on Voltage until he at last reached the end of his countdown. Go! Without hesitation, Gale leaped right into a full on sprint, belatedly searching for a target. Which one, which...? Her pale eyes zeroed in on Sunshine, Glacier's mate, and her grin became extra devious. "Better run, Sunshine!" Gale warned, sprinting right toward her. She had to get her; she had to, she had to, she had to!
