Don't Want A Hit And Run

What a unique place this was. The femme found herself fixed in place by awe of the molten river that flowed. How the fire flowed down a waterfall of it’s own the woman wasn’t sure. It seemed almost tame, but, in trying to edge closer, she had felt the unbearable heat and sensed the danger of it. Was it possible to harness that energy into something useful for the pack? Bernie would stand there for a long time, puzzling over this little fact. If she could then surely that might be worth something, aye? But alas there was nothing she could think of that would allow her to go about this. After tossing a stone within the fire river {and narrowly avoiding the splash of lava that came out instead, the femme decided it was a hopeless endeavor. Still the place was pretty. Bernadette would breathe out a small breath, turning her body and preparing to leave when something caught her eye. Oh? What was this? |

Lyria's blue violet gaze almost reflected the orange glow of the lava. Due to how hungry she was, Lyria had came here to see if there was any prey. Even though there wasn't, the monochrome female was not disappointed. She was, needless to say, captivated. In fact, she hadn't even noticed that the wolf was standing there yet. It wasn't until the strange beauty of the fire river had passed that she raised her head, spotting the black and crimson form of a familiar face. Her tail wagged slightly, a grin on her face."Joker!" Lyria was truly happy to see the other wolf, even if their past meetings had been short. The first time they had met was after Lyria had her first fight in the land. The second time had been quite later, but the two had introduced themselves.
Lyria's paws carried her closer to the other female, and she spoke up. "I didn't expect to see you down here." As she waited for the female's response, her stomach growled. Embarrassed, Lyria ducked her head. "Sorry." She mumbled.
Lyria did not question her behavior. After all, it was because she was hungry, and Joker was.....A friend?

Well well well... Bernadette’s smirk would grow as she laid eyes upon the peppered little she-wolf. It had been quite some time since Bernie had seen her last. Tail would wag thoughtfully as she gazed upon the other femme, head cocking to the side ever so slightly. “Lyria...” Bernadette would say in a soft tone. “It’s been quite some time.” Truth be told she hadn’t expected to see Lyria either. Here nor... Anywhere else really. When the femme had disappeared without a trace Bernadette had thought she moved on from Alacritia. “So, are you only going to be the friend that shows up once in a blue moon?” Bernadette would ask. “It was... Quite disappointing how you disappeared last time. A warning would have been nice.” She’d chuckle softly. “But ah well. How have you been fairing? Have you joined a pack in these lands as well?” |

When Bernadette noticed her, the black and crimson female's grin widening, Lyria felt a smile stretch across her face. At her words, saying that it had been a long time, she nodded. "It has." At her friend's question, her smile turned the tiniest bit mischievous. "I don't think this land likes me very much. I had been sick for..." My, how long had it been? Lyria herself wasn't sure. "But hopefully that's done with." Her friend would ask if she had joined a pack, and Lyria shook her head. "And you? Have you been doing well?" Maybe the female was growing soft, but she actually cared for the other female. It wasn't something she did often, care for others.
