Damnit. He didn't think that buffalo would come to the edge of the knolls and into the orchard. They weren't supposed to! But they were charging him, and he had to get away! He tried speeding up, little puppy legs kicking and flailing towards the nearest knoll. That was... rather far away. Good thing he was a fast little bugger, although this thing was also fast... and really big... and was gaining on him and he wasn't going to make it in time. Panic started to hit the younger boy, fear flashing in his eyes as he tried to run even faster.

Ashemdai knew that rumbling noise. It was a noise that struck fear into any wolf's heart. Stampede? Buffalo occasionally stampered about being loud and sometimes they wouldn't run for long. Today wasn't one of those days. Maybe an intruder thought he was gonna get a meal, or maybe someone was in trouble. Running to check it out, he saw one of Avalon's children running away from the herd. The idiot was running in the same direction as them! The buffalo were gaining on him. Ashemdai didn't think, he just looked around for a large enough object to deter their running. Taking off, Ashemdai approached diagonally towards Lykos. There was a knoll not too far away, and one even closer if the boy wasn't running straight ahead. The buffalo never touched the knolls. Never. Legs pumped beneath him, his eyes locked on the boy and the knoll close beside him. Ashmedai lept, aiming to shove Lykos in the direction of the knoll to tho boy's left. It was so close, "MOVE." he commanded, aiming to grab the boy by the scruff and drag him if he had to.  "Speech"
