Riv would always take it upon himself to visit new places. It meant making himself more familiar, no matter how hard or how long it took. Besides he didn't need to be around everyone constantly. Now that he was sort of an adult he enjoyed his new found freedom. Spread paws stepped across the rocks that remained at the edges of this castle. The rocks that had been broken off from the strange structure. It was so huge that it had caught him off guard. Using his nose to scent the air, his ears moved to every source of sound it could find. Gray tail flicking behind himself, he debated entering or not. A place like that he could get easily lost in.
He silently wondered what made this structure. It didn't seem natural at all, he narrowed his eyes for a moment before letting out a breath of air. Relax himself, to remain calm was to make sure he didn't fall into a panic. As long as he did that then Rivaxorus believed he would be fine on his own. The large beast sitting on the edge, he would see if another wolf would be nearby. Perhaps have enough courage to convince them to go in with him.
A hunt was what had brought Kar so close to the castle. His daughter and her friend, her love interest, were recovering back near the falls. Mako was with them, ready to call for his father at a moment’s notice should something take a turn for the worst. Kar knew he was asking a lot of his young son, but with the states of Mystic and Feli being on the relatively poor side after fighting Ashamoro... He’d give a breathy sigh as he straightened himself up. He had lost lunch by the looks of it and was lost himself. Gaze would turn up towards the castle, and there he’d spot a stranger he’d missed before. Kar would tip his head in the other’s direction, wondering if he might come down to speak with him.
When his head turned, that's when his eyes had locked on his target. A slightly open mouth on Rivaxorus' end only told the other he was not here to attack him. As Kar lowered his head, Riv was quick to take in all the physical notes of the smaller older man. Tail twitching a bit he tried not to wag it out of the relief over finding someone to hopefully explore this place with him. That way perhaps they could talk and grab a lunch with each other. Hunting together was always more fun then it was alone. He approached the man with a respectful dip of his head.
"Hello Sir, you wouldn't happen to know how to navigate this place would you?" Rivaxorus asked with a tilt of his head. "My name's Rivaxorus, but you can call me Riv." It almost felt like he was getting better and better at interactions. However he kept his distance for Kar's own personal space, plus not every wolf enjoyed a giant hovering over them. Sometimes Riv was thankful for his height, and other times he felt bad when he tried to make eye contact with others who were usually much smaller then he.
