Burble goes the river

"Agh!" Soil moved out from under the already muddy woman and she stumbled doen the hill. Quickly righting herself, Locha tried to calm her rapidly beating heart. Perhaps this wasn't the best idea, especially when her clumsy feat could so easily be very dangerous. Trying to descend the hills of the fjord whilst on soggy footing wasn't too smart. She was halfway down now and the burble of the river below just enticed her more. She could only imagine the view from down there, swimming with cliffs and a forest towering above you. She sighed shifting slightly where she stood, Locha surveyed the trees around her. It would probably be wise to try and rest a little. The woman attempted to scramble up and behind a tree and after a few attempts, she succeded, paws muddied. Her blue eyes moved up to the forest sky and watched the light sprinkling down, with a smile on her face.

This trip was an excited one for the gray-scale colored male. With his new rank of emissary he now had an excuse to get out and travel without feeling like he was always needed back home for other things like border patrol. With a few different wolves interested in Legionary he felt comfortable with the fact that they could handle things while he was gone. Not that he viewed himself in a high and mighty sort of way either. It was just when they weren't a pack and there were less of them he felt less comfortable acting selfishly and just leaving on his own whims to go and explore. At least now he had an excuse to be out and about. He'd never been to this area of the south before. The cliffs and towering trees were always a welcoming sight, hence his excitement, as he slowly scaled down the side of it. His goal was the river down at the bottom and he could hear it clearly below him. With it finally being warm enough to go swimming he fully intended on it after he tested his skills to see if he could make it to the river. He was built for the arctic to be able to scale down slippery slopes and keep traction. While the mud wasn't snow and ice it certainly felt similar so Creed felt right at home scaling down the cliff side. It wasn't the easiest trek but it was a fun challenge nonetheless. He was a good way down when a familiar scent hit his nose. He knew that scent. It was Locha, the blue girl from Donostrea. He grinned to himself before following her scent trail to a place not far off from her resting spot behind a tree. He wagged his tail in greeting, finding his own spot to stand for the time being. "Greetings Locha, fancy meetin' ye here." Walk, "Talk" Think |

He was met with a light laugh and a wagging tail. Creed couldn't help but to wave his tail back and smile in greeting. It seemed most, if not all, of the Donostrea wolves were always friendly. There'd been that one encounter with the purple star looking wolf but he didn't count that as the circumstances with Enigma and Hellstrom hadn't exactly been the most friendly. He was pleased to see the girl though. Friendly faces were always a welcome sight. He watched carefully as she made her way over to him. He noticed her muddied paws, his own quite similar, and wondered how long she'd been out here. He'd done fairly well at keeping his balance, though he had no problem making sure she kept hers as she moved closer. He relaxed when she finally was close enough to him for them to have a normal conversation. She beamed at him and he smile back his tail still waving behind him. "You don't say, Creed. I'm surprised you found me in one piece to be honest. Mountaineering is really my forte." she admitted playfully. "How's life treating you?" He chuckled at her words. Mountaineering certainly wasn't for everyone. "Ah'm alrigh'. Ah joined up with an old pal of mine an she star'ed a pack so Ah've been kep' busy. Wha' abou' ye?" Walk, "Talk" Think |
