"Agh!" Soil moved out from under the already muddy woman and she stumbled doen the hill. Quickly righting herself, Locha tried to calm her rapidly beating heart. Perhaps this wasn't the best idea, especially when her clumsy feat could so easily be very dangerous. Trying to descend the hills of the fjord whilst on soggy footing wasn't too smart. She was halfway down now and the burble of the river below just enticed her more. She could only imagine the view from down there, swimming with cliffs and a forest towering above you. She sighed shifting slightly where she stood, Locha surveyed the trees around her. It would probably be wise to try and rest a little. The woman attempted to scramble up and behind a tree and after a few attempts, she succeded, paws muddied. Her blue eyes moved up to the forest sky and watched the light sprinkling down, with a smile on her face.

This trip was an excited one for the gray-scale colored male. With his new rank of emissary he now had an excuse to get out and travel without feeling like he was always needed back home for other things like border patrol. With a few different wolves interested in Legionary he felt comfortable with the fact that they could handle things while he was gone. Not that he viewed himself in a high and mighty sort of way either. It was just when they weren't a pack and there were less of them he felt less comfortable acting selfishly and just leaving on his own whims to go and explore. At least now he had an excuse to be out and about.

He'd never been to this area of the south before. The cliffs and towering trees were always a welcoming sight, hence his excitement, as he slowly scaled down the side of it. His goal was the river down at the bottom and he could hear it clearly below him. With it finally being warm enough to go swimming he fully intended on it after he tested his skills to see if he could make it to the river. He was built for the arctic to be able to scale down slippery slopes and keep traction. While the mud wasn't snow and ice it certainly felt similar so Creed felt right at home scaling down the cliff side. It wasn't the easiest trek but it was a fun challenge nonetheless.

He was a good way down when a familiar scent hit his nose. He knew that scent. It was Locha, the blue girl from Donostrea. He grinned to himself before following her scent trail to a place not far off from her resting spot behind a tree. He wagged his tail in greeting, finding his own spot to stand for the time being.

"Greetings Locha, fancy meetin' ye here."

Locha's blue ears perked. She could hear heavier steps a little in the distance. They didn't falter, whoever they belonged to most be pretty sure-footed to be able to hike easily in this terrain. Looking down from the sky into the darker forest around her. Just a little back down the trail from whence she came stood a tall, fluffy bulky man, otherwise known as Creed.

"Greetings Locha, fancy meetin' ye here." Tail wagging, Locha laughed lightly. This was definitely unexpected, but the chance meeting brought a grin to the woman's face. Rising to her feet, Locha made to move closer to the man. Glancing down at her paws, she tried to pick out the safest looking route. The last thing she wanted was to take another tumble. Treading lightly, Locha quickly scooted closer to Creed, smiling as she stood a few paces away.

"You don't say, Creed. I'm surprised you found me in one piece to be honest. Mountaineering is really my forte." she admitted playfully. "How's life treating you?"

He was met with a light laugh and a wagging tail. Creed couldn't help but to wave his tail back and smile in greeting. It seemed most, if not all, of the Donostrea wolves were always friendly. There'd been that one encounter with the purple star looking wolf but he didn't count that as the circumstances with Enigma and Hellstrom hadn't exactly been the most friendly. He was pleased to see the girl though. Friendly faces were always a welcome sight.

He watched carefully as she made her way over to him. He noticed her muddied paws, his own quite similar, and wondered how long she'd been out here. He'd done fairly well at keeping his balance, though he had no problem making sure she kept hers as she moved closer. He relaxed when she finally was close enough to him for them to have a normal conversation. She beamed at him and he smile back his tail still waving behind him.

"You don't say, Creed. I'm surprised you found me in one piece to be honest. Mountaineering is really my forte." she admitted playfully. "How's life treating you?"

He chuckled at her words. Mountaineering certainly wasn't for everyone. "Ah'm alrigh'. Ah joined up with an old pal of mine an she star'ed a pack so Ah've been kep' busy. Wha' abou' ye?"

Locha Elementas

Locha's own tail mirrored Creed's, wagging as she took a seat. She didn't really acre how muddy she got now. If she reached her goal then the swim in the river would was away all the dirt, that was, if she actually managed to get down there in one piece. Now that they were so close up, Locha had to tilt her head back a little so that she could see the man's eyes as he spoke. The darker mountain light and the teardrop markings made his turquoise eyes seem as if they were glowing.

"Ah'm alrigh'. Ah joined up with an old pal of mine an she star'ed a pack so Ah've been kep' busy. Wha' abou' ye?" So he'd joined, or helped form, a pack since she'd last seen him. Well, hadn't he been busy?

"Wow! You've definitely been a bit of a busy bee then. I can imagine that being quite stressful, to be perfectly honest. It must be nice to be out for a little while."
God knows that's why she was out. Until the flood-water receeded back home there wasn't much she could do. Escaping the packlands for a little while was refreshing, despite the muddy conditions. The company was good, at least.
"I've been okay, a little stressed with all the flooding that happened at the start of the season, butgood apart from that." she concluded with a less enegetic smile.

"Wow! You've definitely been a bit of a busy bee then. I can imagine that being quite stressful, to be perfectly honest. It must be nice to be out for a little while."

Creed's response was an absentminded nod as he thought about it. He really felt like he hadn't been that busy. After all Surreal had been planning Celestial for a while. Other than scouting around a bit and just making sure he was around whenever he was needed he hadn't been too helpful. He was charged with mentoring Surreal's daughter, Baine, and he was the pack's only Emissary, but it wasn't bad or hard for that matter. Still he supposed to some that was busy enough.

"I've been okay, a little stressed with all the flooding that happened at the start of the season, but good apart from that."

Creed perked up at the mention of flooding. His eyes widened a bit and he looked at Locha curiously. They thankfully hadn't had any flooding since the snow melt, but he hadn't taken into account the other territories that had major bodies of water near them. He knew Donostrea had a territory by the ocean. That must have been what was flooded. Perhaps with the season almost over the waters would recede.

"Tha's defini'ely enough ta keep anyone busy. Was anyone hur'?" While he didn't know most of her pack he still worried. He knew the good nature of Donostrea and definitely didn't wish any ill will upon any of them.

Locha noticed that the man straightened up a little when she spoke of the flooding back home. He looked at her, and whilst looked a little worried, said "Tha's defini'ely enough ta keep anyone busy. Was anyone hur'?". Locha looked down for a moment. Luckily all of her family had escaped the flooding in time, and no-one was hurt, but it had been close. She still carried tension from that night on her shoulders.

"Ah, luckily no. Much of my family lives in caves near the beach, and when the sea rose they all flooded. " she said, her voice remaining steady, much to her relief. Looking up she smiled, although she did not quite meet the other's eyes. Standing up, catching herself from slipping once again, the woman smiled. "For now, though, I'm trying find a path down to the water. I imagine all this mud doesnt't look very flattering." she chuckled.

"Ah, luckily no. Much of my family lives in caves near the beach, and when the sea rose they all flooded."

Creed's frown deepened at this. Dono seemed like such a peaceful pack, it certainly wasn't fair that mother nature was being unnecessarily cruel to them. He supposed living by an ocean though there was bound to be some problems, though it didn't mean he liked them. He was just grateful that no one was hurt, that was the important thing. Sure there'd be some damage and a lot of clean up but the waters would eventually recede.

Creed mimicked her movements as she stood up, paws digging into the earth to hold himself steady before he slipped. "For now, though, I'm trying find a path down to the water. I imagine all this mud doesnt't look very flattering." A smile curved along his face as she said this.

"Life's no fun if ye don' ge' a wee bit dirty. Mind if ah join ye fer a swim?" He said with a chuckle.
