Laufey vs Katja

"Do not think I've forgotten you, cousin."  A wicked grin touched Laufey's lips as Katja's attention turned to him. "Your judgement has on occasion been flawed..." Geez, you knock up one drug addled woman and you never hear the end of it! If it was anyone else he might have stuck his tongue out in good humor, but given the circumstances and the speaker he didn't think that was a wise idea. Maybe if it was Kaprasius. Maybe.

The marauder's grin grew devilish as Katja announced that she would be testing him personally. He'd been hoping for Kaprasius, but the chance to square off with Katja exceeded his expectations. The brute was being given an opportunity to showcase his skills before the whole pack. Not only that, but the alpha herself would be his opponent.

After stepping away from the crowd so that the two of them would have enough room Laufey turned with the intention of facing Katja head on. He stood at the ready but made no move towards her - yet. This was her test; if she wished to take the first move he'd let her. Usually he wasn't so considerate; if it had been Kaprasius he certainly would have charged forward with the intention of overwhelming his opponent. Why? Funsies.
