Walk | Talk | Think She was so concerned with keeping an eye on her daughters that Anais almost did not notice Gale suddenly come barreling her way. Her ears perked atop her head as the taunting voice of the Aertus called out to her, using a nickname that was seldom used except by the grey wolf giving chase. Uh oh! Her heart leaped, excited panic stealing through her. When was the last time she had actually gotten excited about a game? Even as she turned, grinning herself, to run, Anais was very glad she had ended up here among these wolves. Her initial inattention cost her though. She ran, trying her best to put distance between herself and the pursuing Elementas woman, but the speedy wind wolf was too fast. Anais felt only a soft, gentle brush against her shoulder, caught the smug smile on the lavender-marked face, and realized instantly she had been tagged. "Aw!" she voiced, disappointed, but still she could not stop smiling. Well, it had been fun while it lasted. Officially out, Anais searched again for her daughters, shouting out to the both of them, "Run, run! You can do this!" Hopefully they fared better.

Gale Elementas Walk | Talk | Think Aha! Success! Their hunter was fast, but not fast enough to outrun the wind. Even though she tried to get away from her, Gale still managed to catch up, racing alongside her and reaching out to gently touch her nose to the golden brown wolf's shoulder. Her tail wagged excitedly, triumphantly, as she slowed and grinned at her first successful tag. She felt only a little guilty in her success since Sunshine did not appear altogether happy about it, but that was the nature of the game. And Gale was here to win. One down... Still smiling, she searched over those still remaining on her brother's team, and picked out her next target. Bathed in rich shades of yellow, gold, and black, Solaris was like a beacon calling her to him, and Gale began to race toward him. "You're next, Sunny boy!" she called out, letting him know he had become the next target and hoping to spark some chase into him. It was much more fun when they ran enough to put up a good fight.

Selini Elementas The reason for their meeting here was explained once the last few stragglers joined them and it made a smile spread quickly across her face. A game of tag was exactly what they needed to help lighten the mood regarding the loss of part of their pack lands. They were sectioned off into teams and then told to scatter. Solaris gave her a quick message of good luck and Selini herself was off. She could hear Volt counting down the start and then he was calling her name. Oh shit! she thought to herself, attempting to put on an extra burst of speed but it was in vain. Voltage had the advantage of speed and a fresher start, as he was gaining on her the vixen was already starting to feel the effects of her sprint.  There was a gentle pressure on her hip as her brother tagged her and the woman slowed a grin still wide across her face. "Okay, okay I’m out." The woman spoke as she began to move herself off to the sidelines. She watched the rest of the group her eyes searching for her twin. It seemed Gale had already pin pointed him as she called out loudly to him. "Get him Gale!" She cheered as she settled upon her haunches to watch the rest of the game unfold. "speech"

Voltage Elementas Voltage couldn't help but grin brightly as he moved easily, bounding along the grass lands. His stamina was awful compared to others in his family, but his bursts of speed were random and sudden, like he constantly got second, third, fourth winds. His family seemed happy, seemed to be enjoying this sudden game of forced tag. Seli tried to run faster, but he just laughed, loud and boyish as he chased her. "You're not getting away from me that easily!" He called over the short distance, laughing happily as he burst forward, like a streak of lighting to reach forward and touch his muzzle to her hip. And the first one bites the dust. "Good try Seli!" He said happily as he turned, his pace slowing to a lop as he looked around. Gale had already tagged one and was already going for another. With a bright smirk he'd look around until he spotted his niece. Aha! He would turn again and lower his head. "I'm comin for ya, Kiddo!" He called excitedly, grinning his toothy grin as he burst forward, paws pounding against the prairie grasses. Seraphiel had the advantage of distance on him, and if she managed to dodge his tag he would let her be. With a smirk he'd run, aiming with his nose to touch Seraphiel just hard enough for her to know that she had been tagged...if he could reach her, that was. No posting order, please. Chasing: Seraphiel Rolled: A two! Evade!

She hoped Aurora would stay by her side, but the moment Voltage's eyes turned her way she wanted to ensure the lightning Uncle went for her, and her sister got a chance to get away. “Hey banana face!” she taunted, but it seemed their was no need, his eyes where already on her! It seemed she had forgotten the team rules, she was keeping clear of Voltage and Gale both for fear of being tagged. She split from Aurora when Voltage ran her way. She put on a burst of her own, hoping more to lose him then out run him. She used every evasive idea she could dream up of. Tearing into tall grass and changing direction rapidly, jumping down changes of heights in the earth, and running for cover, keeping it between him and her as long as possible... essentially, anything that would give her a chance to lose him. She was running in a dead sprint, and her sides where heaving. Yet she ran, and ran and ran... and it likely left the group wondering when someone would tell her he had turned from her to other prey. She didn't look likely to stop until she reached the other end of the earth (through she didn't leave the territory) "Speech"

It felt like no time at all before his ears perked and he heard Gale's voice calling out at him, warning him that he was next in her sights. He tried to run faster, but no matter how hard he ran or dodged, it seemed that he was no match for his quick footed sister. Not that he was surprised. He certainly wasn't the most athletic of the family. He felt her nudge him as he got tagged and he'd stumble to a stop, panting hard from his sprint. He'd grin at her, saying, "Darn it, you got me!" He'd watch her run off to chase her next target before chuckling breathlessly and making his way over to where Selini was sitting, watching the whole thing. "I think I need to get in better shape," he commented with another soft chuckle. He'd settle on his haunches next to her to watch the rest of the fun and wait for their game of tag to come to an end. Gale Elementas Walk | Talk | Think Oh, Sol was putting up a good fight. Gale trailed after him, weaving a path that followed closely behind him, and with each stretch of her smaller gait she gained ground. Little more, she thought, little more and I've got him. And, sure enough, she did. She touched his shoulder with her muzzle, a soft nudge to signify her tag, and laughed aloud, brightly and victoriously. "Can't outrun the wind," she taunted gleefully, slowing enough even to prance as she walked. They were all family; she could get away with basking in her success a bit. But not for too long. Already her pale eyes were on the lookout for a new target, and a quick scan of the remaining wolves singled out one of two wolves. "Oh, Rocky," Gale called out, dragging out the words in a singsong manner. "Better move fast!" Finally giving in to her natural urge to chase, the grey and lavender wolf sprinted for her earthy-toned brother.

Terrae Elementas He watched as his each of his family were chased off, one by one, until a green gaze met his. A gulp forced its way down his throat. Uh oh. It was his turn now. Heart pounding against his chest, he sprinted away from his swift pursuer, knowing his agile sister was bound to outmatch him speed-wise. He could hear her thundering paws edge closer and closer, making his earthen paws work twice as hard as he willed his limbs to go faster. When he thought he was caught, an idea flashed in his mind. The stream! He could slow her down by passing through the stream! Feeling new energy ignite within him, he pelted further from her as the ribbon of water came into his view, and without hesitation, he crashed through it. Scrambling up the bank, he continued to run, not daring to look over his shoulder until he was certain she had given up. "Terrae speech" "Silvius speech"

Gale Elementas Walk | Talk | Think Gale raced after her earth-toned brother, her grin wide as she went. She could practically feel victory now, so sure that she would tag all those that were on her brother Flash's team and she would emerge as the winner. And her team, of course, but with her help as an expert runner and chaser. Almost got you, her thoughts sang as she neared him, focused solely on putting more speed into her stride to eat up the ground between them. He, however, had a different tactic in mind. Drat! As Terrae splashed straight within one of the streams that cut across the Prairie, his lavender-marked sister's reckless pace stumbled and slowed. There was no way she was going to get him now, not if he was using his wider gait to propel him so swiftly across the waterway. "You win this one!" she called across to him sourly, unable to completely help the mild scowl that puckered her brow. And she had been so close to a perfect streak! Gale turned, quickly redirecting her attention to who was left, and was surprised to see it was one of her nieces. "Blueberry!" she called, and ran for the last remaining wolf on her brother's team.

Ray stuck by her side as Aurora split from the group, still unsure what the point was of all their running but determined not to be left out. Her blue-marked sibling was of the same mind, and encouraged her to follow and keep up with her. The very blue pup found it somewhat hard given her much smaller gait compared to her tall, leggy sibling, but still she ran and raced, looking about excitedly at their family as they did the same.

It did not take her long to figure out the game. The pale grey wolf with the lavender markings and her awesome Uncle Voltage dashed about crazily between the Elementas wolves, tapping and prodding at their siblings as they went. Would they come for her? Oh, she hoped she they would not. She did not want to be tagged, especially since those who were stopped playing. No, she wanted to stay in the game, and she growled competitively as she turned to look at her sister.

Only to find her sister gone. Confused, concerned, Rory quickly spun in place to spot Ray and found her being chased by Uncle Voltage, running as if her life depended on it. No, no, don't touch her! If her sister had to stop playing, then that meant she was playing all alone, without anyone to run with. Needlessly, she chased after them, but as she did she spotted another figure racing right towards her. Uh oh! Gale was coming for her!

The blueberry pup panicked, sprinted in her haste to keep away from her aunt. Her little legs could hardly move fast enough and even though Gale had yet to touch her she could almost feel her looming behind her, getting closer and closer. She zipped across the Prairie, seeking any sort of escape, and found it in a familiar shape. Mommy! Her white-toed paws dug into the dirt, causing her to skid with the suddenness of her stop, and as soon as she could gather traction again she changed course for Anais, darting over to the golden brown wolf and quickly ducking beneath one of her forelegs.

Gale Elementas Walk | Talk | Think Considering she chased a pup, Gale took it easy. The little blue thing was tiny, a wobbly round thing on four stubby legs, and compared to her, a creature designed for speed, the Aertus had every confidence in her abilities. She would not end the game too quickly for her niece, but let it drag on, let the girl believe she had made her aunt work for her victory and struggle to make that final tag. She'll like almost winning, the overconfident wolf thought, grinning to herself. Her overconfidence was her undoing. She underestimated the pup's response, and while the child did initially simply take off at a full sprint in order to get away from her - a tactic that Gale could have easily handled - she changed things at the last second. With a short distance between them Gale watched as Aurora skidded to a stop and followed her eyesight over Anais. The grin on her face fell away as surprise, even fear, ghosted across her expression. If Gale did not get her now, she was going to get away. Giving up on her relaxed win, the lavender-marked wolf broke out into a swift run, aiming to close the distance between herself and the child before she completed her turn and made it to her mother. No, no, no, Gale thought, stretching her gait, but even as she curved her path to follow Aurora's turn toward Anais, the little pup was already dashing beneath her mother's forelegs. Gale zipped right passed her and tilted her head back with a groan, unable to believe she had been outrun by a child. A child! Her brothers were never going to let her live this down. Slowing to a stop, Gale took a moment to glance around and be sure she had made an attempt at tagging everyone on her brother's team before her green eyes sought him out to see his progress.

Voltage Elementas Voltage would grin brightly as he chased after Seraphiel, but she seemed intent on keeping away from his touch. He'd blink widely as she dodged him, weaving through the tall grass, and he was panting by the time she got ahead of him. Woah, that girl might be able to give Gale a run for her money whens he grew up. He smirked then, letting the girl win as he slowed to a trot and then burst out laughing as she continued to run away from him. Oh, that girl. He shook his head before turning to look to who he had left. Gale seemed to be done! Woah. Well, he still had two to go and then they'd compare their scores. Quickly he spotted his mountain of a brother and a smirk spread across his lips before he moved towards him, trotting at first before suddenly breaking into a run. "You better run Big Brother!" He shouted with a toothy grin, running towards him with his head lowered. No way his brother would get away from him, no. Voltage knew all his moves, could predict his turns. But then again, Glacier could do the same to Voltage so it might be close. No posting order, please. Chasing: Glacier Rolled: A one! Tag! (wow i suck at deadlines, sorry guys. We'll wrap this up soon!)

Glacier didn't go far, he would watch the game unfold from the short distance he had run. He watched as Gale chased down his mouse, and his Aurora, and it was to his greatest amusement that Aurora would win her round. She fled under Anais's belly and Glacier smile was nothing but loving as he watched it. He watched as Voltage chased after Ray and shook his head as the girl ran, and ran, and ran and he wondered if he would have to chase her down before she ran into next year. If Voltage hadn't given his warning the alpha's eyes might not have lifted from the spot Ray had vanished into. His attention had been entirely on his children and a jolt ran through the man as he realized his brothers eyes had fallen on him. Voltage was too close, and Glacier was too slow at picking up speed. Once he got there, he was like a freight train, but until then he was heavy and slow. Voltage found a burst of speed, one of the ones he was famous for, and the game was over for Glacier before it had begun. He had fainted to the left, zagged to the right, but Voltage had predicted it all, and there was naught the heavier wolf could do about it. He slowed his slow run to a walk, shaking his head and laughing as he lashed his tail into his brothers face. “Cheater” he teased, knowing it was not so. "Burn Baby Burn"

Voltage Elementas Voltage would laugh happily as he tagged his beloved brother, skidding past him and sticking his tongue out as he did. "Caught ya!" He teased happily before turning to see who was left. Everyone was out of the game except one special little blue girl. He'd grin his little grin and turn his sights onto Locha. She was one of the smallest of the family, and Voltage had awful stamina. He might be able to catch her, but there was a good chance that she could manage to get away from him. Lowering his head, he'd grin at his little sister. "Your turn Locha!" He teased excitedly, bounding towards her. He loved this game, and loved the smiles it brought to his family. He almost didn't care if he won or lost, but winning would be way more fun, wouldn't it? No posting order, please. Chasing: Locha Rolled: A four! Evade! (Locha posts next and then Volt can post again to tally everyone up :3 I haven't been keeping track of the points thus far, let's hope someone actually won xD)

Locha had managed to evade most of the action so far. The woman had kept her eyes on Voltage the whole game and had watched as he chased everyone in Team Gale. With a cunning smile, she'd kept on the move, jogging at and easy pace, keeping out of sight of her older brother. Her tactics had worked for most of the game and soon she was the only one remaining.
She was low in the grass when Glacier was caught after a short chase and saw when Voltage turned his eyes in her direction.
"Your turn Locha!" Uh oh. She was found. Rising quickly, Locha sprinted in the opposite direction. Adrenaline coursed through her and she gained speed. Voltage was a source of unending energy and her little legs did not give her much of an advantage, so she chose to curve around back to Glacier in the hope that she could evade him. Looking back, so stuck out her tongue as she reached the mountain that was her brother, and ducking down low, Locha aimed between her blue brother's legs so that she could skid right through and stop on the other side.
"Ha! Beat that."
