This place felt so familiar. As he made his way through the littered landscape, his expression grew thoughtful while he examined his surroundings. He had been here before... hadn't he? His ears flicked uncertainly and a sigh passed his lips. He remembered Alacritis. Well... He remembered it vaguely. There were clips and pieces of memories that flicked through his mind of his parents and siblings here. That had to have been years ago though, hadn't it? He was a pup in those memories. He still hadn't quite pieced together how old he was now, but he knew he was far from a pup. That much was obvious.

He padded slowly, pausing occasionally to turn something over with his paw to look at it more closely. All of the things here were strange and foreign, but interesting all the same. They gave him something to look at while he dug through his broken and missing memories. How did he get to the places he remembered? He had nothing to give him a relative direction to go in. Nothing he had seen so far had struck a chord in his memory to tell him he was going in the right direction. He sighed again and lifted his gaze. He had been trying to remember his siblings names... Odette... Oracle... He was pretty sure those were his litter mates. He had older siblings though... It felt like it was on the tip of his tongue... Suddenly a sent reached him that made something click in his head. His ears perked and he quickly glanced around him, desperately trying to find the source. Av... Avalon?" he called with a moment of uncertainty. Was that right? Was he imagining things?

It had been a very long time since she'd been here. The place seemed haunted, remnants of creatures that used to walk the lands lay dormant beneath her feet. Shards of glass and bits of foreign objects stuck out of the ground, and she would be careful not to step on them. Her plans for the future were coming slowly, setback only by her own insecurities and the lack of confidence when it came to it. She could have done it the past season, but she didn't think herself ready quite yet. But perhaps this season...

Ears perked at the sound of a voice, brows furrowing when she realized whoever it was, was calling her name. Turning to find the source, her gaze fell on a black and white form standing a short distance away. Her jaw dropped at the sight, was it...was it really him? Slowly, as if this were no more then a dream, she moved closer until she was a few inches away. Nostrils flared, his scent being too real. His form so close to touch..."Galahad? It's...it's really you?"

Moments after he spoke her name his emerald gaze locked onto her, his brain beginning to piece together foggy memories now that he had a face and scent with a name. He watched her slowly come toward him, seeming to not quite believe what she was seeing. That was okay, he couldn't quite believe it either. He knew it had been ages since he had seen his sister, even though part of him felt like it had only been just yesterday. With so much of his memory lost to this impenetrable fog in his mind it felt like he should still be a pup. She spoke his name and he felt a small wave of relief. Not only did she recognize him and he had correctly guessed her name, but her calling him Galahad confirmed that he had correctly remembered his own name.

He nodded slowly, a smile gradually stretching across his muzzle. "Yeah.... It's really me." A giddy chuckle escaped him as his tail wagged happily behind him. He hesitated for a second only because it felt like he was meeting her for the first time even though he knew this was actually a long awaited reunion. "I can't believe I actually found you," he said as he reached forward to close what little space she left between them to press his face into the side of her neck. There was a familiarity in her scent that was undeniable. He'd finally found his way home.

It all felt so surreal. How she'd searched for her family for so long, and lately it felt like they were coming out of the wood work as if they'd been here all along. A smile formed when he confirmed it was truly him, her tail wagging when he laughed. Oh how she missed his voice! "I can't believe it either!" She replied almost in a whisper. He closed the distance between them, and the woman pressed her face into his fur. She took in his scent, breathing it in deeply to refresh what she had held onto all these years.

As the two became familiar with one another again, she laughed before doing a little hop back and then lurching forward to tackle him in a hug. "I thought I'd never see you again! I've missed you so much! A lot has happened since you've been gone, and I thought I was the only one left after mom and dad disappeared...our brothers and sisters are gone too, you haven't seen any of them have you?" Either way, he was here at least. And as she wrapped her arms around his neck, she pressed her face into his neck, afraid to let go and have him disappear again.

That hesitation that he felt was clearly not felt by his sister as she happily pressed her face into his fur before hopping up to throw her forelegs around him in a hug. He blinked with surprise and chuckled, but he didn't make any attempt to stop her. He wouldn't dream of interrupting her as she went on to exclaim how much she had missed him. His tail continued to wag behind him until she asked if he had seen any of their siblings or their parents. He frowned and gave a small shake of his head. "No... I'm afraid not." He hesitated for a moment and glanced away from her as he added, "I don't really remember who they all are to be honest... I hit my head a while back and lost all of my memories. That's why it took me so long to find my way back. I wasn't a hundred percent sure what my own name was until you said it. I've been slowly remembering stuff, but there's still so much of it that's foggy. I'm just glad your scent reminded me of you." He smiled again then, bringing his muzzle to her cheek to give her a kiss.
