Back Again

Even with her nose stuffy, Sparrow could smell the return of Starling. His scent traced through the lands, fresh after another absence. Sparrow was beginning to think going missing ran in their family's blood. After their mother turned up out of the blue, it seemed to be likely. The fact that her brother seemed gone more than he was in the pack was bothersome, especially when he was supposed to be one of the head healers. Snorting back a sneeze, Sparrow decided that if she died, she was going to blame him. Where were the healers at, anyway? Maybe healers were just flaky. After deciding to switch her studies, she had, in fact, felt specifically more free. She wasn't going to care if someone disagreed with her anymore. She wasn't going to hide her feelings. If someone could come into the pack, yell a bunch, get a rank, then decide to quiet down, maybe that's what Sparrow should try... well maybe after she was better anyway. Sniffling again, Sparrow settled down to rest for a moment.
