Pack claim purchase

With her release, it was time. Soon after requesting to leave the usually bustling pack, she made her way towards the southern edge of Boreas where Donostrea once stood. She was saddened to see a good pack go, but they, like the others, had gone quietly. But where there was rain, a rainbow would follow. It was her time now. Her time to resurrect a memory that she had been longing to bring back. She aimed to take her father's place, and finish what he had started. She was on a path to a new journey. A new chapter with her family and any others, waiting to begin.

The sky was heavy with broken clouds, rays of sun fighting to break through its clouded cage. A light drizzle had begun to fall, marring her coat with tiny droplets of water. The salty sea air could be smelled from here, but she would not be taking up the lands that had been homes to the Elementas family. No. She planned on moving northward to the lands of her birth. The snowy regions where she knew every nook and cranny, every trail and every tree. It had always been her home. She would return there to live, and it would be there that she would die.

Stopping near the faded borders of the territory beneath an old tree, Avalon smiled as she thought for a moment. How much she had changed. How much she had gone through to get here. That was all history now, and without further waiting, she threw her head back and howled to the skies as she made her claim. She called for her family, her friends, anyone nearby who might want to seek a new life or those who were interested. Soon, her legacy would rise again.

His teeth had been munching on a carcass of a deer nearby where Avalon called. Since he had been waiting all this time, he took the time to find some scraps from other wolves that had abandoned their prey. Having one eye, made it more difficult to get your prey. Though his slate ears picking up the sound of her voice had caused him to rise to his paws. Quickly following through before he reached the lands.

Avalon was standing proudly, and the slight wag of his tail made him approach her. If it was welcome, he'd like to stand beside her. Pressing his nose gently into her shoulder before his attention turned to the temporary lands. He'd be returning home to the north - no matter how afraid the healer was he'd tough it out. Letting out a shaky breath, the mark across his eye shined brightly. As he looked up and gave a smile, thinks would be turning for the better.

What was this? Mom was calling for the family? He'd known about her plan and then a release from imperium...so did that mean? Yes! Mom was doing it! He trotted quickly towards where she had howled from, and upon getting closer noticed that his brothers weren't there yet. And while he wasn't the first to show, at least he was the first of his brothers to arrive. He saw the half blind male Vereux standing next to his mom, a pang of jealousy shooting through him before quickly going away. Honestly, he shouldn't be jealous that mom had friends! She'd been busy taking care of them without their dad, so when he arrived in front of them he smiled and sat down with a wagging tail. This was it, wasn't it? What mom had been talking about? He couldn't wait to see what was in store.

Curiosity would consume him as he'd traveled away from Celestial lands once more. Surreal seemed to be feeling okay and Locha was settled in in the pack lands. Now with things seeming to be calming down for the time being Creed knew he needed to head to Donostrea to tell them that Locha was okay and that she'd be headed back to them as soon as she was well enough to travel. He also intended on talking to Glacier for a bit and figuring out if anyone else in their pack was sick. If this was an illness that was traveling around quickly then they needed to take measures to ensure that no one else contracted the disease. It was an epidemic quite unlike anything he'd ever seen before and it worried him.

He'd been nearing the place that Donostrea had claimed but the stale scents of unmarked borders caught his attention more than anything. Donostrea was a fairly active pack from what he'd gleaned. No alpha would just not mark their borders. Had they been more freshly marked he wouldn't have dared trespass, friends or not, but needing to know what was up the male stepped past them. He didn't make it far before a familiar call rang out summoning anyone nearby. That sounded like Avalon.

Curiosity got the better of him and he veered course. If she was here and summoning others then it seemed like something had happened to Donostrea. Now that he thought about it he could smell the scent o loners mixed in with the old pack scent. Realizing he needed to figure out what happened so he could tell Locha, he headed towards where the small group was meeting. Avalon was there as well as an unknown male. One of her children were there as well, well he didn't know it was her child for sure, but he looked a lot like the rest of the family with the familiar markings and he smelled a lot like her as well. It had to be one of her sons.

He padded over to his cousin with a soft smile masking the worry. "Wha' happened ta Dono?" he asked her, pausing a little ways away. He'd stick around for a bit and see what he could learn.

Amachi had been close by to begin with. The south had made her home for a short while, seeing as the time had finally come she was following the sound of her friends voice. Her huge paws carried her to the small group. Seemed like Avalon's children, Vereux and a strange man she had never seen before were here. Making her cautiously approach, still standing near the outskirts though. She would silently sit, her expression bored almost. It was just the default and usual. While Avalon had seen a bit into her heart, it didn't change Amachi and herself about large groups. Where she already stood out, so she tried to see herself as less prominent.

The woman curled her tail around her haunches. Patiently waiting her new leader to lead her. After all, that's all she was here for. Also to possibly break the ice with some wolves. The midst of her thoughts made her look away for a moment. Was she really ready for this? Still her insecurities would make it hard to make her think that she was worth it. A heavy breath and her head turned back to Avalon.

It felt weird leaving Imperium. After they'd been released he was unsure of what their future would hold for them. The only thing he'd ever really known about Imperium was that it was a militant pack and other than his den and a select few other areas he hadn't really known much about the territory either. Having seen enough of his den while he was sick he felt no qualms about leaving it behind. A part of him felt like he was betraying the pack by wanting to leave, like he was supposed to have some sort of oath and undying loyalty to them, but in the end his family was what commanded him to leave. He owed his mother and that's where he felt like he belonged. He'd follow her even if he wasn't even sure where exactly it was that they were going.

The howl calling them and anyone interested certainly caught the young male's attention. Curiosity got the better of him and he rushed off towards the call. He clearly hadn't been quick enough though. Dragon had beat him there but that was the extent of the faces he knew. A darker male was there next to their mother (he wasn't sure what to make of this but he wasn't sure he liked it) and then there was a strange male that had markings a lot like Avalon and him. Maybe he was family? The last one was the largest female he'd ever seen with the strangest markings he'd ever seen too. She was .... well she was different. That much he knew. Unsure of what to make of it all he padded over to Dragon and then plopped down beside his brother as he waited to see what was in store for them all.

Galahad was still struggling to piece together everything that had happened to him in the recent past. But, ever since he found his sister, his worries had been eased slightly. At the very least he had found some of his family and confirmed that he had remembered his own name correctly. That was better than nothing! When he heard his sister's howl he didn't hesitate to go toward it. Where else would he go? It wasn't like he knew these lands any more. Avalon was the only wolf he truly remembered so far. He might as well try to make himself useful and continue to reconnect with her while he figured out his next moves. He arrived at the small gathering that was forming around his sister and he trotted up to them uncertainly. He didn't know anyone else here. Well, he didn't think he did at least. He came over to sit near Avalon, giving her a smile before letting his gaze drift over the wolves around him.

Gryphon had been lurking nearby his family constantly since his mother had decided she was going to claim a pack. He couldn't remember a time he'd been out of Imperium's lands, and on top of that he'd been sick for so long that he longed to go exploring and learn how to hunt and all sorts of adventures, but he was incredibly wary of leaving his family alone while they were so vulnerable so he'd held himself back to simply scouting around their immediate vicinity. So he wasn't far away when his mother's voice finally rang out announcing to anyone who heard that she was claiming a pack, but instead of racing to her call he made cautious loops around where she was gathering everyone together, so that he could make sure they weren't caught by surprise by something mean being attracted to the sound of her howl. Nothing really unusual crossed his path, though he smelled the scents of some wolves he didn't recognize as they flocked in. Black ears flicking constantly he finally turned from his scouting to trot inwards towards his mother. Kharnage and Dragon were both there, though Lykos wasn't - he hadn't come with them when they'd left. Though Gryphon felt a pang of worry over his larger brother, it was more easily dismissed than the more immediate dangers that faced the rest of his family. After all, Lykos had a whole pack to look after him.

Gryph bristled silently at the site of the half-blind stranger cozying up to his mother. Hey, who did he think he was? Green eyes narrowed in a protective - and yes, possessive - anger that he didn't bother trying to hide as the yearling came to a stiff-legged halt and glared at the stranger. He was peripherally aware of a few other strangers as well, and his iridescently golden tail twitched and cricked in discomfort at being surrounded by so many potential dangers to his family. How could he possibly evaluate so many strangers all at once?
