The male had recently been able to get his jaws on a young doe. It was not very big considering its age, but he figured that Abelinda may enjoy his gift. Part of being with her also meant bonding, to show an effort of his role in this engagement. Of course he was open to listen to her as well and how she felt. Liar was no stranger to affection, but he also was a war mongrel. Blood and guts all the same something he craved in due time. However, building an empire meant effort. Causing him to want to give her his full attention when it came to his thoughts.

Finding their spot that they settled in. He dropped the carcass and let out a shrill soft bark to call for the female. "I brought you a meal Abelinda." he said as his monotone voice hit the air. As strange as ever, the male sat down looking at the small young deer. He silently wondered what its last moments were like, to see a larger wolf taking your own life. His ears flicked at the thought.

The wraith had been settling in, albeit slowly. The women had found herself busy with the collection of herbs which now lined their den. The same den she had used so many years ago and equally had shared with Oddity; it made her wonder if he was still living. Tending to the moss, did the bark catch her attention; an ear flicked towards the entrance as Liar spoke. So he brought a meal? It made he wonder what he had brought down. Leaving the moss for now, did she rise and stretch out a tad; before stepping out. A soft smile was offered and she greeted him with a soft lick upon the right side o his muzzle, if he allowed it. “Thank you.” It was all that was offered, as the wraith began to dispatched the meal; taking her time as that gaze lingered on Liar in obvious thought.

“And in the dark, I can hear your heart beat.”

The gift was welcome it seemed, and while it didn't look like it he was glad. The unexpressed male welcomed her touch. As she uttered words of thank you getting to her meal. Liar was fascinated by Abelinda, by the armada family as a whole. What sort of man would he be as well, if he did not know of their history. Rolling down onto his stomach, his front paws crossed each other as he looked at her.

"Could you tell me about the Armada's?" he questioned. He knew about the walkers - his family was vast, large. It wasn't just ardently they had been to, there was plenty of family from his cousins out of these lands. Since his uncle had indeed built a magnificent empire. He supposed it was sort of like what Abelinda said. None of his uncle's children had upheld his morals much.

The wraith worked quickly, in picking the flesh away from the skeleton of the fawn. In truth it proved to only take her a few long minutes to pluck it free of nearly all the meat, minus chewing on the bones. He wasn't one to express feelings much, that was apparent..perhaps something to work upon. But for those few minutes, did Abelinda state her hunger - which was easy to do with a fawn. A big meal was needed, then again it never was. One of the many merits of being lithe and small as she was; she didn't eat as much as a larger wolf would. His question caught her a bit by surprise, those ears flicked in thought once finishing up the meal and grooming herself. “The question is; where to begin and what do you want to know?” That head titled briefly, knowing this would be an interesting conversation. The wraith stepped away from the corpse and took a spot to his right to lay down, knowing they maybe here for awhile.

“And in the dark, I can hear your heart beat.”

In due time she'd learn how to read him. It wasn't easy but the male gave subtle signs of how his emotions worked. Anger, and rage a majority of them. Of course his smiles as well, many of them sinister when they came to be. His tail flicked as she took a seat beside him. "Your half brother - he was the last head of the family was he?" he asked her. Giving her his interest.

When it came to the walkers, they could be a variety of things. His father was someone who held no crown, after all the insane abusive man died at the hands of one of their own family. Liar sought to leave that, and he created a large home. He guessed, he didn't know where it went downhill and he was someone who always moved forward.

Things took time, there was little doubt in that. But she'd learn to read him slowly over time, then again she wasn't terribly in a rush and as it was, she'd learn things here and there about him from just watching. Those ears flicked as he asked about her half-brother and smiled a bit. “I do believe Isardis was the first of our family to arrive in these lands and the one to set the roots for the empire he built.” That much, she believed to be true. “He was a mysterious man in his own right, but no different then the next wolf; he took what he wanted and fought tooth and nail for all he owned.” Which was quite a simplistic explanation of her half-brother, much less a brief description of what he was like, in some ways.

“And in the dark, I can hear your heart beat.”

Liar nodded his head, letting her know that he was listening. Letting a soft 'I see' leave his lips. So it was as he thought. He was the same way, though of course he couldn't compare himself to the man. Surely Abelinda held him dear in her mind, if he in anyway tried to seem like he was replacing him - well he couldn't. Liar believed he was his own man as well. "My father was the same way. He was an albino man who everyone saw a monster." his tail flicked. At one point he had idolized his father.

"So Isardis built this kingdom in the north." he inquired. "I do hope I do your family justice, where the walkers have failed I feel my need is here with you. Abelinda, would you accept me as an Armada?" he questioned curiously. His eyes looking over her, he wasn't staring blankly this time. It was more intrigued rather. She also was free to ask him any questions.

Abelinda knew he was watching, after all she was watching him rather closely. Though, why wouldn't she after all? Having quiet a bit to learn about him, as he did her for that matter. It was true, she did hold the memory of her half brother Isar quite dear to her, then again so did she of the other members of her family. but that was long gone, as that gaze remained on him, listening as he spoke. A brow rose, as he spoke of his father being albino, but suppose it wasn't too strange.

“These lands were a part of his territory; I cannot say if he claimed these lands first or not but they were more often then not home.” A simple truth by all means, as for his question did she look at him carefully. “A marriage will have be arranged for it to be permanent Liar, but I do not see why not.” Perhaps being more then a bit lax on their traditions, but things changed, just as they did. A simple way of the world.

The male would smile towards her. Softly as such, but it was content to show her a bit of his feelings. Devilishly as he was - she spoke the truth. Marriage was the ultimate price two paid to their cause. To love and affection, it took a lot of work. Liar sought to press his nose into her cheek, reassuring her of his presence regardless of how it could be seen.

"When would you like to start raising a new generation of Armada?" the question was clear cut as well. Tail flicking over her slightly, he was aware of her plans and seeing as it was her season. It was her consent he needed and her ability to be ready. They could talk about marriage another time, of all places perhaps not here. Unless of course she wished it.

A smile was offered, one that was a first, or had she missed the first one? She couldn't recall, in truth she had been far too busy to recall their first meeting at all. But, she was not going to fuss any over it and simply awaited for his next question. Marriage was a hefty price to say, but a fair one regardless; simply a commitment they would have to make to one another. Some found it easy, others did not. Blinking briefly as he pressed into her cheek, she only returned the gesture softly, wondering.

“Sooner, the better.” There was little reason to wait, knowing her season would only last so much longer. But with that she rose, aiming to brush the top of his head with her nose softly, before the wraith would angle towards the den. There was no need to do this outside, then again she equally knew this wold be something they maybe at for a bit.

The male watched her, giving her nature he wasn't too surprise. She wanted to be private, it caused him to raise to his feet shaking his fur free of any snow. Following the woman to the den, he was quickly behind her. Lightly he nipped at the base of her tail playfully - hoping that it was not too bothersome to her. He was a strong able bodied man - well experienced in his field with the amount of litters he had. Though he had victims of course that hadn't been willing. Yet he was no stranger on how to bed a woman.

The male would watch her movements carefully. Reading her body language the best he could. After all a fuck up wasn't on his to do list for the day. To ensure a good quality of life for his spawn he knew what he had to do. All of them would have both their parents in their life and that was a fact. They would grow and be strong - knowing of the strifes of the world.

A wide yawn left her jaws, once within the den. A brief snort was given as Liar nipped at the base of her tail, which flicked in response; touching his chest in a teasing manner. Save for Lova so long ago, had she been rather - clean. A surprise for a women like her, much less one who used anything to get what she wanted. Even if it mean using her own body to achieve such an agenda. “Being a tease, are we?” The wraith would question softly, looking at him from over her right shoulder. Though to tease him further did that front end bow, only to bring up her rear more and right before that gaze of his. A tease and a stretch as Abelinda worked out a few tense muscles in preparation for what was to come.

Fade to black.

Liar hadn't done this in some seasons, though it was even a surprise for him as well. So there was no telling how his instincts would play out. Maybe a little bit roughly, but nothing uncomfortable for her. As she spoke, his tail twitched at its end. The coming together of two wolves was sacred. As of such, he felt that it was important to him. Though it could be easily flaunted about - his green eyes locked on the woman as she readied herself. With that, Liar would approach and easily find himself where he needed to be. In hindsight, there would now be new life growing. And an exhilaration that he hadn't felt in some time - a sense of actually gaining his strength back.
