He had finally made it to somewhere that seemed safe. Paws carrying Arsenal weakly, the male's golden and blue eyes caught sight of the ship. A huff escaped him, and he made his way towards it. The sooner he could get to it, and get to somewhere safe, he could rest, right? And maybe later he could see if traveling after his brother had been the thing to do. If he-they, were here. If he even wanted to find them, that is. If he did, he would just be overshadowed by them, not as important. Irritation welling in him, the wolf picked up the pace, closing the distance between him and the ship with a pace that betrayed his silent resentment. Soon, he'd be able to prove his worth. The ones who thought he couldn't, and he knew they were probably out there, would be proven wrong. He wouldn't be useless.

Shaking his head, a snort escaped Arsenal. He'd have to think about that lately. His paws lifting, the blue-gray male collapsed onto the ship with no other thought. Finally, he was done walking. He could rest. Exhaustion flooding him, Arsenal closed his eyes, although not giving in to sleep.

The north called to Oracle like a moth to a flame. Boreas almost seemed to welcome her, heralding her arrival with winter’s embrace. Bubo flew high above her, his large wings helping him navigate through the thick white snowflakes that fell from the heavens. Oracle moved with purpose, originally seeking the cove where she had spent much of her childhood. Yet... The girl paused, one paw in the air. A scent, though faint in the snowfall, caught her attention. It was when she found the tracks of the other wolf that she truly began to get eager. She knew it was too much to hope for a family member when they’d been broken for so long... But perhaps she’d be able to something new here in Boreas.

The female glanced up, calling to her companion. “Yo grumpy-feathers, find anything?” He could see far better than she could after all. Rather than shout down to her Bubo descended, landing upon Oracle’s back rather forcefully as he let out a huff. Bubo wasn’t the friendly creature, but he stuck with Oracle all the same. Their friendship was a confusing one... But it worked.

“Aye. A vessel up yonder it looks like. Seems the tracks head that way.” Oracle gave a small nod, used to the talons of the owl digging into her sides whenever her settled upon her back. They looked a strange pair moving through the snow, though Oracle moved with great purpose towards her destination.

Upon arriving to the ship she didn’t even hesitate. She made her way up the rickety ramp and onto the vessel, scenting the planks to find out where the wolf was that had passed this way. Finally she spotted him, just under one of the overhangs that protected him slightly from the weather. The female furrowed her brow, approaching him. Yet she stopped a safe distance away, calling to him. “You alright?”

Arsenal's restless sleep was disturbed by the sound of someone making their way closer. A soft growl escaping him, one ear flicked before he fell silent, hoping to give off the impression that he was asleep. Maybe the other creature would leave him to his rest. That fleeting hope was crushed as he heard the voice call out from a distance, asking if he was okay.

His first instinct was to stay silent and maybe the other would leave, but, slowly, he opened one eye. Even from the distance, the female was tall. And...What was that on her back? An owl? His ears pinning against his skull, he rose to his paws, weariness tugging at him. He really didn't want to stand up at the moment, but he was almost worried that the other wolf wouldn't leave him alone until he did.

"I'm fine." He sounded a little angrier than expected, but she was the one that interrupted his rest. Plus, it seemed that she was taller than him. Had everyone grown? Or was he just that small?

"Am I going to be the smallest one around or something?" He was angrier than usual, but a part of him was tired of seeing the other wolves so much taller than him. And, unfortunately, he was taking that annoyance out on the female. "Who gave you the right to be so tall? It isn't fair." He was probably sulking, but he sat down with a huff, ears flattened as he gave everything around him a glare.

Oracle wasn’t put off by the grumpy, angry tone the other held. She arched a brow, however, at his words. He didn’t look just fine, he looked ready to drop again from weariness and fall flat on his face! But she supposed there was some sympathy too. The young man apparently didn’t know Boreas like she did... Must have been a newcomer, Oracle realized. With a soft chuckle the woman shook her head, speaking in a calm tone. “No, you will not be the smallest wolf around, trust me on that. There are some of us who are larger, but it’s not as many as you think.”

Oracle continued to watch the young man, her golden eyes roaming over his features. He was an interesting creature, though she had to wonder what had brought him to Boreas. Bubo shifted on her back, eyeing the young man with much more uncertainty than the wolfess below him. “Lad...” The owl let out a huff. “You do not need to take an angry tone with Oracle. She only cares for your well being... And not all wolves here would be so kind!”

Arsenal's angry stare, although it wasn't as harsh now, turned to Oracle as she spoke. He huffed at her words; that didn't make him feel much better!  His ears lifting slightly from his head, he continued to give the others a glare. His annoyance was fading quickly, replaced by the weariness that was seemingly reaching his bones. He wouldn't be able to stay angry long, weariness overtaking him quickly. Relaxing and moving from the sulking position he had been in, he yawned, about to get to his paws and go somewhere where the others wouldn't find him. Swaying slightly as he stood up on his paws, he shook his head, turning his disdainful stare on the owl as he spoke.

"Maybe if I could've gotten some rest without being bothered I wouldn't be so angry."His words came as another huff, and he turned, away from the others, wasting no time in flopping onto his stomach again, this time away from them.

speech.

Such a grump. Oracle furrowed her brow as the male answered Bubo. He seemed to be quite content to be angry until he collapsed again. The she-wolf sighed, glancing towards her companion. While she was used to grumpy natured individuals she knew that she couldn’t force her kindness upon them. If he didn’t want her help then oh well she supposed. It was a bit of a shame, but Oracle saw no reason to prolong this meeting any longer. She dipped her head, giving a soft bark to Bubo to let him know they were going to move on, and turned heel. Perhaps coming here had all been a mistake…
