The winter season was very mild this year, doing little to keep him from traveling. While he'd visited two packs, one completely ignoring his call while the other he'd had a pleasant conversation with the alpha, he had decided to remain a loner for a while longer. He wasn't too sure if he should join a pack after all. He was quite sure he'd feel awkward joining a pack and not knowing anyone there.

Today, he chose to do some herb hunting in the moor. And as he searched around the stones that made a strange circle in the center of the lands, he could hear the soft calls of birds in the distance. He wasn't entirely sure what to look for, nor if he even really needed anything. After all, it's not like he had a den to store them in, or somewhere to call home. He was a loner. Herbs at this point, served no purpose to him. Still, it would give him something to do.

She thought a lot lately. As she wandered to the drier, milder territories of the west, her mind cast itself back to her encounter at the battlefield with the loner and other alpha. Did other packs not take Myriad seriously? Well, perhaps not Myriad, but herself as an alpha, along with Rivaxorus? It felt like so. She had once thought she was old enough for this position, mature enough, responsible enough. Now she just doubted herself. Then there was the issue of Myriad being too 'peaceful'. Oh, that one was new. Well, okay, let's start some wars, shall we?

She was far out from the forest by the time she snapped from her daze. The openness was what got to her first. She was so used to having willow trees around her, having to wind and snake around them. Instead, she found herself in open moorland, dotted with silver rocks and boulders. Despite the faint mist, her scarlets still caught a glimpse of a lumbering alabaster figure, and when she slowly approached the wolf, she discovered the fluorescent shades upon his pelt. Green, blue, purple, pink; she couldn't believe her eyes. "Hey!" she called out to him with a bark. "You look a little like me."

He was nosing around the base of one of the large stones, one striped paw scratching at the ground. He'd found a small cluster of mint, and the scent pleased him. As he debated digging some of it up, a voice called out to him, causing the Titan male to jerk his head up in surprise. Steel blue gaze found the young woman, brows rising in surprise as he laid eyes on her. For a long moment he stood there, wide eyed. He'd not seen any others with colors like his except for Marina and her son Ren. He'd not met the others, so he didn't know if this one was related too, though she seemed to be the same age as the young former alpha male.

He stepped away from the stone, abandoning his previously found mint as he looked at her. She was a pretty thing, large enough to where she almost stood at his height. Tilting his head as he perked one ear forward, he spoke. "It's not often I come across someone with colors such as yours." He smiled with a bit of a chuckle, "My name is Arvandor. Pleasure to meet you, miss."

"Listen to me talk," 'and know my thoughts.'

The man lifted his ivory head from his clump of herbs, and she instantly registered the surprise in his dark cobalt eyes. Reading the emotions of others was one of her skills, and she could thank Xephyris for that. Though she wasn't able to work out why he felt so shocked. Was it because of her sudden appearance? For that she could apologise; she hadn't meant to startle him. Or was it perhaps because he had never seen a wolf bearing such vibrant hues like himself? He was quite the anomaly, she had to be admit, and such magnificent colours too. She was stuck with green, unlike her mother who was blessed to carry all seven shades upon her pelt.

Slightly larger than himself, which was a bit of a surprise on her end, the older man introduced himself as Arvandor. "Zephyra," she introduced herself with a polite dip of her head, deciding it was best to leave out her surname and pack. Outside of Myriad, she didn't need it. She was just Zeph. Who was this queen of Myriad? It certainly wasn't her. "A pleasure to meet you likewise."
