The ebony-coated maiden had spent a lot of time roaming around this rocky area now, and there was plenty of small prey, but she'd also found an option that would feed more mouths than just herself and Steel. Mountain goats. Their coats were still white from the winter season, and it was easy to spot them against the background of the rocky terrain. She'd taken note of some of their habits, and tried to notice any weak, injured or sick goats. The herd looked strong, but there were also many offspring that would make easy targets if they get the adults running in a panic. It was about time she called together some pack mates to get to know them through a cooperative hunt and a good, warm meal. She wondered if there were any other strong hunters in the pack. Not only that, but she wanted to work a little harder to improve her rank. So Esarosa placed herself in front of the entrance to the Northern Mines, tilting her head back as she howled to call any hungry pack mates interested in joining in a pack hunt. Oh? What was this? A hunt? Lykos' ears swivelled towards the sound, and he was already getting to his paws before he even had the full opportunity to process what was happpening. A pack hunt - he'd never been on one before, and it excited him. True, he hunted for himself, and thought himself quite proficient, but he'd never gone after... larger prey. Lo and behold, his excitement led him to be the first to arrive... and spot an unfamiliar face. Blinking in surprise, it was only in hindsight he realizedd that he didn't recognize the voice, and now he could see why. Dipping his head in greeting, he introduced himself. "I am Lykos, Heir to Ivalice. You are?" his voice was surprisingly deep for one his age, his mannerisms much more calm and polite - but that was the entire purpose.

Steel had been doing a lot of thinking, as of late. He and Esarosa had essentially decided they were going to work on starting a family. Yeah, him, with kids. The thought was terrifying - he'd admitted it to her, in just a few words, but it really was quite nerve-wracking. It was exciting too, but he knew not to get ahead of himself, either. It might not be as easy as they hoped, and he wasn't sure when everything would happen. His mind rolled over these anxious thoughts as his mate's voice reached his ears, his breath catching in his throat. It was not a call just to him, but all who wanted to join her on a hunt. With little hesitation, he pulled himself to all fours, heading in her direction at a brisk pace. It'd been a long damn time since he'd hunted something big for prey - perhaps since he'd traveled with his parents, way back when. He and Esarosa had not been able to take down anything that large with just the two of them. Frogs had been a common snack; the thought made him smile as he drew closer to the two that had already gathered for their hunt. His pawsteps had a bit more hop in them than usual, and he forced a smile to the stranger that stood there - it was not the most genuine expression, but he was trying. "What're we looking to take down today?" he'd ask, eyeing Esarosa as he moved to stand by her side.

The male would try to make his presence constant in Ivalice. He was determined to have his children immersed in one world along with there's. While he did think there was a distinct difference between he and all these wolves - that was his own fault was it not. The exotic male made his way to the hunt. His lime green eyes centering over one of Avalon's children. Soon it was torn away though as he looked towards the one who called the hunt. Taking a seat patiently but he said nothing at all. His face giving no expression either. The ghostly male flicked the tip of his tail as he waited for the hunt to start.

Amachi had to get involved in the pack. She couldn't sit by idly just because of her own insecurities. As the woman would get up to the call she carefully carried her body over to the hunting group that had gathered. Surely her size could help with the whole thing. They could grab a good amount of food for them all. Plus it would be good for the amount of pups they had running around the place as well. Amachi would flash a smile to the black wolf running the hunting group. Nodding her head as a greeting as she took a seat. "Talk" "You" Think

She'd heard the call from Esarosa, and was pleased that she was taking the initiative to get the pack together and moving. She'd gotten close, watching from a distance to see if anyone would show, and sure enough they did. Lykos was first, and she was glad he was taking it seriously, or at least, she hoped so. There would be a meeting soon, and if the pack wasn't taking things seriously now, she hoped they got into gear after the meeting. Finally after a few showed up, she made her presence known by walking into the group, amber gaze on Esarosa as she nodded to her. "So, what have you in mind for lunch today?" There were six of them now, her appearance evening out the playing field.

As she waited hopefully for anyone in Ivalice to come, she turned her head as the first to arrive was an older son of Avalon's. Dragon's brother. She dipped her head as Lykos introduced himself as the heir of Ivalice. He seemed a little tentative around her, which she didn't blame him for. He didn't recognize her. "Nice to meet you Lykos, I'm Esarosa," she replied in kind, "I'm a hunter, hoping to make a good impression today." She chuckled slightly, hoping she hadn't come across as any sort of arrogant. She was confident in her hunting abilities, but wasn't one to boast. She smiled when Steel arrived and came to her side. "We're going after mountain goats today," she informed him. She figured if few wolves came, they'd pick off a clumsy youngster, but if there were enough of them, they might be able to take down a bigger goat. Not long after Steel's arrival would come a strangely painted male with a blank expression who sat down quietly. Then a very large femme would come, smiling at her, so Esarosa smiled back, although silence remained between them. Finally, Avalon would arrive, and she smiled to the Alphaess. It was a perfect opportunity to show off her skills in front of the leader, and the heir, and if all went well they would eat well today! "Since there are six of us here, I think we can take down a large adult goat," she chirped, ebony tail swishing. Her eyes scanned around the wolves gathered. "For anyone who doesn't know me, my name's Esarosa," she introduced herself, looking to the blonde male with interesting markings, and then the dire fae with very unique coloring, "If I could get your names before we begin?" She went quiet, giving a moment for either wolf to introduce themselves quickly. "Let's move, so we can get them in our sights," she said, flicking her tail as she set her paws onto the rocky incline, beginning the steep ascent - on the other side of the rise, there would be a gentler slope with some greenery below where the goats would be grazing. From here, it was easy to see their prey. There was little to do in the way of strategy, as there was no cover to aid in an ambush. "We'll simply have to rush in," she stated to her group of hunters, "There are several males in the herd, one of which is very protective-" She nodded her head in the direction of a big-horned male. "-If we startle the others into running, he will come to stall us - there are enough of us to surround and overwhelm him. If he doesn't come, we'll switch targets to a younger, clumsier goat." She glanced around to the wolves with her. Would they be ready to make a run for it, and be flexible should they need to adjust their game plan? His head dipped in return. "It's a pleasure, Esarosa. I'm sure you will do outstanding." He fell quiet then, nodding to the others as they arrived. He recognized the other wolves besides the one that arrived right after him, but he didn't bother himself with that, for Esarosa would probably start talking soon - and so she did, and she handled it very efficiently and professionally. He found himself himself extremely approving of this woman, much more so than many other members of the pack; it wasn't often he found someone he seemed to respect off the bat.

He followed her quietly, standing and observing with the shorter black woman, nodding at her words. They made sense to him, and he was more than willing to follow her lead for this.

Esarosa would introduce herself, and Amachi would take it upon herself to memorize the girls name. That when things went underway, Amachi was on her feet by then. "My name is Amachi." she dipped her head towards the black hunter. Following them when they began to move. So the point was to provoke the ram? Well it wasn't like she was a hunter so she wasn't too keen on group hunts. Her tail swished back and forth - with Amachi's size she could offer so much strength. Let them not forget about Lykos as well, Ivalice was turning out to be a group of strong fitted wolves. If they would just apply themselves at least. "Talk" "You" Think

It seemed all those who were going to participate had shown up. Avalon, her son, a behemoth and the black wolf's mate it seemed. Liar would try to make note of all of them as he became attentive of the woman. She would speak of the ram, after introducing herself. He would wait until everyone had finished speaking to say his own name. Not that it mattered much. "Liar Walker" he greeted as he followed the misfit group. Out of all of them, he was surprised how many large wolves they actually had. Regarding the thought for a simple second, his attention turned back to the hunt at hand. The sooner they hunted, the sooner he could separate himself from the group. That way he wouldn't even have a chance to bother them with himself.
