Ooc//keeping vague on the Vereux thing until things are sorted out with that among other things k thanks.

The meeting was over, and as soon as she made sure all was clear, she left her perch and motioned for her sons to follow. Dragon had been sent to fetch Kharnage after the boy had walked away without so much as a word, and to be honest, the irritability and bad moods of her sons was beginning to rub off on her. She needed them to know that she was not angry with them unless they were deliberately trying to do it, and she just wanted to include them in the goings on and the way the pack would be run. They had ideas, surely, and she wanted to hear them. Gryphon was sick, so he'd be sitting this one out. But the other three? They had no excuse to not do the things she asked unless they simply didn't care anymore. And if they didn't, then it would begin to show her whose side they really took after.

She sat at the base of a pine away from where the meeting had been, lips curling at the thought of her first mate. He had betrayed her, and lately, too much had begun to remind her of it when she had been doing so well in forgetting. So much had come to light at once, the talks with Bass and Valentine and Lykos. But she would not make mention of that just yet. No, she needed more to go off of before taking action. So for now, she'd focus on the pack as a whole. And there were things that needed discussing, things like recruiting, the room to accommodate new members, especially since Esarosa had asked permission to start a family which she had not denied. Testing loyalties and abilities, pack relations and more. How her sons responded today would determine most of that.

Kharn hadn't gone far when he'd left the meeting. He hadn't said a word because there'd been nothing to say. The idea of raiding didn't interest him. He'd taken Regulus' words and advice to heart about fighting and he didn't want to go to some place just to get his ass beat just to bring home something they could use. He had almost no experience and the only training he'd ever even attempted was healing when Vereux held a session and he'd been the only one to show. That bust attempt surely wouldn't help him a fight - so no he wasn't interested in anything.

Dragon had been sent to fetch him and in all honest it hadn't been necessary. He really hadn't gone too far from the meeting so when Avalon had left to find a new spot to talk to them Kharnage was already heading back. He'd regarded his sibling with a stoic facade before picking up his pace to trot past his cinnamon coated sibling.

He'd pad over her with ease and then would pause only a few feet away. He didn't expect Gryphon to be coming to this little "family meeting" of theirs since he hadn't come to the actual meeting. He felt a pang of anxiety arise in his gut. He could only imagine what Avalon had to say and he wasn't looking forward to anyways. Regardless he sat down and was content to wait.

Kharnage was such a grump lately. Or maybe he had been for a while, and he just hadn't noticed. He knew his brother wasn't happy about Lykos being the heir, and neither was he. But it wasn't out if jealousy, it was the fact that Lykos hadn't earned it. He had wanted to stay behind with Imperium, so when his mom had given it to him, they had been outraged. Well...maybe him and Kharnage. Gryphon hadn't really talked to him, but he sure hung out with Lykos alot.

He followed behind his brother as his darker sibling went on ahead. And when Dragon showed up, he was surprised to see that Lykos wasn't there yet. He looked at Kharnage, a smug look on his face. Some heir Lykos was. He sucked at it! Shouldn't he have been right behind their mom or something? He was only sitting all high and mighty up on those trees with her. He snorted as he sat near Kharnage, brow raising at his mom. "So how long are we gonna wait for Mr. Heir?" His mom would respond with "a couple more minutes" and that if he didn't come, they would start without him. She wasn't pleased today, so he doubted she'd have the patience to wait for him much longer.

Dragon never goes anywhere without his Dragon armor, assume he is always wearing it unless otherwise mentioned! He also has a pair of seeing eye jaguars, assume they're always present unless otherwise mentioned.

He needed to get away from the idiocy before he went to this meeting that his mother called. He was in a contemplative mood, and thoughts swirled around in his head much like how blood would swirl in a river; everything was a jumble and he needed a minute to just... relax. That meeting had caused so many conflicting emotions - anger, hatred, joy, cheerfulness, derision, pleasure. It was frustrating and annoying to sort through those, and even more frustrating to attempt to figure it all out in the few minutes he had.

It was only the call of his mother that he realized just how far he wandered away from the meeting, and where his siblings and mother would meet. He frowned heavily. He was not looking forward to this meeting. He was curious as to what his mother would say, but he was also apprehensive for the same reason. On top of that, he'd have to deal with Kharnage and Dragon. Little assholes.

Shaking it off, he started foff towards the call at an almost leisurely pace; he felt no hurry to arrive and knew he'd arrive not late no matter what. He wasn't that far, after all. He may be one of the last to arrive, but fuck it, he didn't care. And indeed, when he spotted his mother, he also spotted Kharnage and Dragon waiting - both with bitchy expressions. You'd think that living in a pack with your mother as alpha is some awful thing, he thought bitterly, absolutely annoyed. Even so, he kept himself stone-faced and neutral, simply silently dipping his head in greeting to the three wolves. He stood a few feet away from the other two, and waited patiently for his mother to speak.
