Aki had abandoned the northern lands once again. He'd spent a large portion of the winter there, hoping he might come across a few companions to take down a reindeer with, but he'd been without luck. He found himself longing for the company of the tribe he'd been born into; he came across Sabine and Sunniva both occasionally, and he'd even had the pleasure of running into two of his cousins since he'd come here. But he couldn't help but miss the way things had once been. He was not one to regret, or to hold on to negativity - so he'd only dwell on it briefly before deciding to change course and head south again.

Afternoon was slowly coming to an close, and the setting sun cast lovely shadows down on the river's surface. A lovely array of orange and purple painted the skyline and danced in the steady-flowing river. His heart was light as he traveled along the body of water, occasionally leaning down to drink from its depths, taking a deep breath of the warm spring air as the world began to cool.
