Granted with little sleep the night before, she was thankful for the little shut eye she did get. It was the only sleep she'd gotten in three days actually, running on fear and desire to escape and never be found. It was when she saw a dark, broody forest that she made a beeline for it. Feeling like she was being followed, watched, and hunted never left her mind and the foggy forest seemed much safer than being out in the open, despite whatever monsters lay within. She'd rather die entering something home than get taken back to her family, actually. She'd always miss her mother and siblings, but never enough to make her want to subject herself to that again. No way. Inside the forest, Raine slowed from a sprint to a slow walk, catching her breath. She hadn't eaten in a few days either, making her weak and easily tired from a dead sprint. Tongue lolling from her mouth, turquoise eyes scanned the foggy, dense forest wondering if anything lived in here actually. Her body sunk a little, her head falling to the height of her spine to creep through the forest, hopefully without being noticed. While she felt safe from whatever may be following her, she wondered if there were others things to be afraid of in here. "Speech!" |

A rabbit dangled limply from her jaws as she headed back from her adventure. She'd left the pack lands for a little while to go out and search the loner lands to see if she could find anyone to offer a home to, but in the end she'd admitted defeat and began to head back home. She'd debated taking a long way home, but by this point she just wanted to be back. The shortest way home was through this foggy forest and Faite entered it without fear. The great thing was that it offered some relief from the heat for a little while. It was a bit muggy but she could deal with that. She was rather far into the forest when an ear flicked around. She could have sworn she heard someone waking, but she couldn't smell anything past the scent of bloody rabbit. She shrugged it off and kept walking. She almost didn't see the dark figure, she blended in so well with shadows, but she wasn't too far away when she spotted her. Faite would stop in her tracks and ears would flick forward as she studied the other woman. She contemplated saying something but that meant dropping her rabbit in the mud and she decided against that, so instead the russet colored alpha waved her tail indicating she was friendly.
