Summer was swiftly on it's way and with it dry weather would soon move throughout the lands of Boreas. Slipping through the beautiful blooming trees Rœkia set about looking for the bright red caps of the Fly Agaric mushroom, a rarity and a beautiful prize it's poisonous effects would be of great value to her, especially if she could find a way to utilize the containers she planned to either gather or make at Peregrine's instruction. Wolf was weaving his way through the trees, scouting for her as usual as she focused on the ground work. She only planned to grab a few that she could then have Wolf take back as she was currently short on skins to carry things in. Man, she had to get something that she could carry herbs and items around in that wouldn't strain her jaw in the future. Mental note in place she continued her search.

Peregrine had been hot on Magpie's trail for a while now, not eager to let one of the few friends she had in this blasted realm too far out of her sight. Eventually she came across the pale woman waltzing through an idyllic spring forest made of understory trees alight with pink petals. It was positively beautiful, and somehow that seemed an odd place to find her. Maybe it was because their last meeting had been in a heaping pile of refuse, but that could just be her own overactive imagination putting labels where things didn't belong. She grinned at the woman from afar, even if she did not thing she had been spotted yet. "What brings a dirty rapscallion like yourself to a beautiful place like this? Dearest Magpie, I do believe you're tarnishing the very grass you walk upon." Alright so she was teasing, sue her! Mags was probably more than used to it at this point so she wasn't about to take it back, and she honestly wanted an answer, so it hung there in the air between them.

Rœkia was deep in concentration, her garnet gaze searching hungrily for her ruby-capped quarry. She knew there was some Fly Agaric around here somewhere. Climbing over the remains of a fallen tree she began to root around in it. Wolf was off doing whatever it was he was doing. Hopefully scouting for her though she knew he was bound to be distracted by the beautiful blossoms of the Redbud Nook.
Rœkia's head jerked up as she heard Peregrine's voice effectively slamming her head right through the top of the rotting log. With a lopsided grin she turned to Peregrine and shook the rotting logs pieces off her head. "Hah! I'll tarnish a lot more than the grass by the time I'm done." She shot her friend a cheeky wink as Wolf landed before them. "Lady Peregrine and Lady Tsiry! It is wonderful to see you. What brings you out this way?"

Peregrine let loose a cascade of laughter in the face of her friend's jest. Tarnish indeed! That was their job after all, right? What with the constant pillaging of the world's natural resources and all. She chuckled and sat down, wrapping her tail daintily around her paws. "Oh, just digging up a familiar face or two. It gets so boring around here without proper troublemakers to keep me company." Not that she'd honestly had much lack. Her mind drifted back to Karabela, Ricochet, and even Sparrow. No, she'd had no shortage of diversions. Then again, every day she spent mucking about under her own devices seemed like a day wasted, but she wasn't sure what else she could even be doing. She shrugged, filing that away as a thought best saved for later. Wolf fluttered down to them and Peregrine gave him a deep bow, one singing of surprising sincerity, all due to the courtesy he'd always showed her. "It looks as if you two are on a hunt! Care for any assistance?" She wouldn't be so brazen as to butt in, but neither was she one to shy away from an opportunity, one of profit or companionship in this case.

This continent was so boring! There seemed to be no fun to be had anywhere, and he had half a mind to return to the South. But it was even quieter there. On top of that, his clan made it clear he was unwelcome, so the prince had left to find something of his own to conquer. And yet, he hadn't found that something. Stalking through these strange lands, Kofi moved quietly. He'd yet to meet another creature, but he smelled them everywhere....but whatever they were, they were not feline. That was for sure.
As such, he simply moved along his way, not really looking for anything in particular either. Although the strange scents were strong around here, he figured maybe it was just the fact that these lands were full of them. They stunk, that was for sure, so he wast surprised that they'd stink it up all over the place. The young male approached a puddle, his reflection staring back at him before taking a drink. Moments passed, and at some point mid-drink, ears would catch the sound of banter up ahead. Head quickly lifted as he listened, tail flickering behind him. Who was that? One of them had an awfully pleasant voice...partially rising, he slunk forward as quietly as he could until finally, a pair of odd creatures came into view. He watched them from the cover of the bush, observing them for now..
