Ain't My Last Dance
It'd been a little while since the meeting and Faite was ready to get started on her young brother's fight training. He was still a pup so obviously there wouldn't be any sparring, but she certainly was happy to teach him any moves she could. She could always think of some things that could relate to hunting so that would kill two birds with one stone. With Varda being demoted and almost absent as of late the rest of the pack would have to pick up the slack and that included training the young ones. There were only three of them though and many adults so that did make things rather easy. Faite had set out in the morning to find a rather sparse clearing to do their training at. She wanted Laisren to have as little distractions as possible and leave little room for error with the environment. With less things for his gangling body to stumble over it'd be easier for both of them so he would be more keen on learning from her instead of focusing on his paws. She could still remember what it was like to be a pup and if she was lucky he would be the perfect pupil. She'd finally cleared away any large sticks and stones and had even rolled in some patches of longer grass to flatten it before she rose her head and summoned Laisren. Her tone made it clear that it was mandatory for him to come and if he didn't she was going to be sorely disappointed. Walk, "Talk" Think |

He had been trying to be patient since the meeting, not wanting to pester or to bother anyone that they would grow irritated with him. He was ready to start his training, to learn skills, and to get started with fighting. He just had to wait until someone was ready to teach him, but if that didn't start soon the boy would have to start hunting people down. Without this distraction he would be sitting around worrying about his mother and sister and bored with nothing to do. He tried to keep himself occupied, but it was beginning to get difficult.

It was no surprise when he came charging at her. Her blue-gold gaze would rest upon him with mirth and laughter bubbled in her chest as she stared at his ungainly gait. He only slowed when he neared her and it seemed to her like he was still having problems with his paws. He seemed so excited to start training it looked like his tail was going to wiggle right away from his body! His mood was contagious and she found herself grinning a toothy smile at her younger brother. He was to be her first student and she was more than pleased he was so ready to get started. She'd nod in response to his question. "Yes Lais." She'd laugh softly. "You seem more than ready." She'd pause to think for a moment. She was mulling over ideas of what she could teach him. She'd never had a pupil before so this would be a learning curve for them both. She had no doubt she could condition him to be a fine warrior for Celestial. She supposed defenses were the first thing she needed to go over, but in the mean time she had a better idea. "Show me your best fighting stance. I wanna see where your strengths lie. Don't think about it too much, just do it and we'll go from there." Walk, "Talk" Think |
