When Dragons Sing
Faite had found herself going on border patrols in more shady areas if she could help it. The sun felt like an energy drainer that she didn't wish to be a part of. Despite the fact Autumn was her heat season she found herself wishing for it to get here already. Even if it was still hot, any sort of cooler temperatures would have been more than good enough. A part of her debated on going to their lake and going for a swim, but she decided against it. She still had duties to perform and she couldn't slack in those lest she disappoint Regulus. So instead she finished up her border patrol for the afternoon and then found herself a nice shady tree to sit under. The grass still flourished under this one and she let out a contented sigh. A warm breeze ruffled her fur and she peered up between the branches of the tree to take a look at the sky. It was a bright blue with very few clouds to disrupt it. It didn't seem like it was going to rain any time soon. Oh well. Her mind would drift to the pack. How were they faring? One wolf in particular nagged at the back of her mind. Jorrvaskr was still relatively new to the pack and Faite hadn't had a good chance to see how the silver female was settling in. Did she like it here? Had she managed to make any friends? How was she faring in the heat? All were very good questions so without much further thought she tipped her head back and let out a summoning howl for the female. Maybe they could even get started on the language lessons. Walk, "Talk" Think |

Just a few time passed since she had joined this new pack. She followed both of the wolves, Faite and Regulus, to this territory of their home. The land was pretty, something that she has never seen in her life. But also, remembered a lot from her homeland.
But, even that time had passed, she was just a new member. She did not know any of those wolves besides the leader and the other female. And trying to get friends was quite a challenge for the quiet Jorrvaskr. She decided that, for now, she would just be herself, quiet and lonely. Wandering through the lands of Regulus’ pack, she could see much more of this large world she was part of, but even the territory was mostly unknown for her as well. Maybe a walk in the edge of the lands would be a great start.
The grayish female was walking with no hurry, feelings the breeze of the season carry the scent of the grass and trees to far always, some place she didn’t know where. Probably, soon things would change, taking the green leaves to replace with the warm colors of the Fall. Jorrvaskr just noticed a presence forward when she was about 50 meters always, since her mind was floating with the air. It was Faite, sitting under a tree. At the moment she recognizes the other female, Jorr remembered that she would like to help the grayish wolf with some language lessons. Since she was just wandering around, now looked like a nice moment for it. Slowly, she approached the dark brown female, sitting by her side once both were sharing the shadow of the same tree. “Hello, Faite.” Gently, she used the words most of the wolves used to greet others. Oddly, she was used to say a whole sentence for that. “What are you doing here gein… Alone?”
It wasn't long before a figure soon came into her view and Faite would stare at it until she realized who it was. Jorrvaskr. As the other woman approached she smiled warmly at her. Faite was more than curious as to how she was settling in. She'd meant to call for the woman a lot sooner, but things had been rather hectic lately. Between training her younger brother, border patrols, spars, and anything else that came with being an alpha... well it had her time very occupied. Jorr would sit next to her and Faite's tail wagged lazily against the ground. She'd turn her head to Jorr as she greeted her and the brown female offered her a warm smile. "Hello Jorrvaskr. I hope you're doing well." She said politely. She noted that she was pretty good with basic sentences and greetings. Teaching her didn't seem like it was going to be so hard. She was surprised when the gray woman asked her a question, but she answered it all the same. "I'm just enjoying the shade. It's been unusually hot this summer." She replied with a smile. "How do you like Celestial so far?" She questioned her. If there was any way she could do something to make her living her better then she'd do her best. She wanted to make sure everyone felt comfortable within their pack. Walk, "Talk" Think |
