This place gave him the creeps. Ray was still convinced that they needed to look around and already he was pretty muddy and disgusting. He'd been trying to avoid stepping anywhere suspicious but the problem was that everything looked suspicious. He was worried something was going to happen and they were going to get sucked into the marsh and no trace would be left of them. Not even their corpses would be found. What if... what if that's what happened to Ray's family? That thought was rather terrifying. He went with his earlier reasons that there was no way in hell that they'd be here. Yet they traveled on anyways. It was disgusting, it smelled, and he'd never felt so dirty in his life. He wished it hadn't been getting colder. He doubted they'd find a good spot to take a bath and he already desperately wanted one. So far he hadn't seen signs of anyone and he was beginning to feel disheartened.
