She was a bad girl. She had never left Valhalla's borders before, and now she regretted that she had because she ended up in the real world all alone. She wondered if her mother or father had noticed she was gone yet. She could only imagine how infuriated they would be when they went looking for her and she was no where to be found. She could see her mother screaming at her while her father paced back and forth. Ugh. Why had she left in the first place! Little paws kissed the earth she she made her way over the cracks in the ground, some big, and some small. She came to one that seemed longer than her and deep enough to trap a wolf her size forever. Little ears folded as she backed away from it, but her adventurous nature whispered in the back of her mind, convincing her to stop. jump, jump, jump. you can make it. jump. "I can do this." She muttered to herself as she took a few steps back, giving her more running room before she dared leap across the abyss. Rump stuck up in the air, eyes narrowed to slits as she stared her opponent down. She could do this. It was just a little crack anyways right? Something she could clear easily. Little did she know the other side of the scar was unstable, and when her paws were to land it would give out, making her slip into an untimely death.

OOC: Aaaaannnnnnd Caesar comes in ;3

I hope it?s okay that I said he got pretty close to her :0 If not, I?ll change it :]

It was humid and warm in the west, the land nimbly evading most of winter?s cruelty. There had been several storms recently, much to the little devil?s displeasure, but for now they seemed to have subsided. The filthy clouds that had brought the rains remained in the sky though, hanging over his head judgmentally, trying to decide whether or not to terrorize him once again. The air still tasted of water, and the creature?s grimy black fur felt faintly damp. Clumped strands lifted up along his back with the rippling of his flesh as he moved, stuck together with a mixture of grime and the humidity. He was not bother by either of the factors though, or the fact that his fur was rather dirty, and continued to plod along aimlessly. There was lots of exploring to be done.

Tiny paws carried him across a parched earth. Though the rains had come and gone, the terrain could find no salvation in it. The dirt was poor and eroded, and various gouges splintered all along it ? scars that had not and never would heal. Water pooled here and there in shallow puddles where the earth would not absorb, and in other places it was completely dry save for a slight darkening of the color to tell that moisture had once touched it. As far as the fiend could see, there was naught but empty, flat land. It was rather bleak, and very uninteresting. Nothing was here, and nothing would come here. With a single click of the gears in his head, he decided that he?d simply go through it. Maybe he could get away from any approaching storms.

So he continued to travel, a meager black shape navigating through the sunburned nothing. Boredom quickly descended upon his rattling mind, and he began to hum and sing quietly to himself. ?Ceasar?s walkin? and the ground?s crackin? at his feet, ?cause he?s really awesome an? it just can?t handle the beat!? he bounced a little and shuffled his feet, wiggling his shoulders. ?Uh!? He hopped back into to motion, swinging his head and skipping forward. There was only time for a few hops before he halted, blinking. There was someone up ahead. From the distance he was at, it looked like a grey blob on the horizon, but it was definitely someone. His head lifted with interest, and his ears tilted forwards. His lips drew back in a neutral line of concentration, his brows slightly furrowed as he strode forward a few more paces. They were standing in front of something. He stood on his toes, stretching his neck as far as he could. A hole! They were standing in front of one of the big holes! Were they going to jump? He sure hoped.

A devious grin slithered across his marred face, and he giggled to himself, ?Caesar will help.? He sank into a crouch and began to slink forwards quietly; he was still very far away, and running would only ruin everything. He would charge though, after a few steps. Claws nicked the compacted earth, and his jaws fell open as he rushed towards the other canine with intentions of thrusting his pitiful weight against it. Even if he weighed little, momentum would help. But there was no chance to see, because within a few feet of target, Caesar tripped. He screamed as he soared towards the ground, landing on his chest and rolling to the side. Fury bellowed inside as pain echoed through his flesh. So close! How had that happened?!

This was it. The princess had her target identified, her rump still in the air swaying from side to side as she focused. All air left her lungs as she exhaled deeply. here goes nothing Her claws dug into the scarred earth, and just was she was about to launch herself forward a blood curdling scream sent her three feet straight into the air. She screamed herself as she jumped up in fear, and as she came back down onto her paws she turned quickly to meet her attacker. It was a man, one she had never seen before, but cute nevertheless. She couldn't get a good view on him since he was in the process of picking himself up from the ground, but he seemed like normal man, besides the scars that littered the parts of his body she could see. "You scared me!" She screeched as she took a few tentitive steps toward him. "How dare you scare me! Do you know who I am!" She liked to believe she was some sort of royalty since she was Valhalla's beta's daughter and was training to take the title from her mother when she was older. Ears perked forward, lips curling slightly to show only the bottom tips of her two front canines as she waited for a response.

The beast rolled over onto his back, and his scream quickly escalated to a howl of cackling laughter, his anger lost. He?d scared her! Great! He hooted and wriggled slightly on the ground, his forepaws folded over his chest. Lips were stretched back to flash his arsenal of fangs, his tongue bouncing out of his mouth while he sucked in another breath. His lungs whistled with the intake before a last, hollering laugh burst from his mouth. Then he caught the girl?s question, and paused abruptly. It sounded? almost like a threat. How cute.

He twisted back onto his stomach and sprung up, his lips contorted into some awful blend of a grin and a mocking sneer that generously displayed his teeth while his tongue continued to loll out. ?Little girl is a little girl and nothing more. If she falls into the hole, she dies like everyone else,? he freely revealed his plan with an improper casualness. Death did not judge any one creature different from another. Everyone died. Just some a little earlier than others.
The hellion?s whole ear twitched back, the tattered stump staying positioned forward. With that sharp suddenness, the imp noisily licked his lips, glossing the inky lines before snapping his jaws shut with a click. He pranced a few steps to the right to glance towards the hole while keeping a safe distance between he and the girl; revenge was a temptation for all. The hole was very deep, but now that he was closer, he saw that it also wasn?t too far across. He still thought that?d she?d been trying to jump in though. ?What?s little girl doing out her anyways?? his sly, high voice questioned as he glanced back towards her, the wicked grin still plastered to his face.

The beast suddenly started laughing, but she kept her ground. He was acting awfully weird. Had he eaten some poppy seeds or mushrooms? Father told her about herbs occasionally, and how some plants can make you act like a weirdo and make you feel crazy. He rolled back onto his belly and stood up, his lips curled into some awkward smile while id tongue rolled out of his mouth. She stared at it, tempted to jump up and bite it, but she refrained. She wanted to know more about him, she was so curious. "But if I die, my whoooooole pack will come lookin for me, and if you're round they would think you did it!" She sneered, her little Australian accent fell freely with her words. She didn't know she had an accent, since no one had ever told her before. She was used to staying home with her parents, not meeting random strangers outside pack lands. She watched him prance toward the hole, never letting him leave her sight. She was so interested in him, from his tattered ear to his many scars. She wondered what had happened to him. "I got bored at home an wanted some adventure. I was trying to jump across, but you scared me before I could!" She trailed after him, but kept the distance at a comfortable couple feet. That way if he tried to do something she had enough time and space to get away and head back home. She looked up at him, baby blue eyes shining with curiosity. "I like your scars and ear."

His sickly grin remained, stitched to his face in a forged sort of way. His ears twisted back slightly as she spoke her persistent threat. ?Who?s she trying to convince? Herself?? he squeaked, wiping his tongue over a dribble of escaping saliva. ?If she dies, it?ll take a little while for the pack to notice. Maybe a few hours, maybe a few days. By then, Caesar will be gone,? his choppy tone assured with simple ease, the corners of his lips writhing into a cruel smirk. The imp was often clumsy, and quite immature, but hidden beneath such misleading adjectives was a conniving and still functional mind. He ran the idea over once in his head after the statement, just to be extra sure. Certainly, unless a chaperone of some sort were following her, it would indeed take a little bit to notice. But alas, his master plan had been foiled, and it seemed he probably wouldn?t need to worry over anything like that, not that he did in the first place.

The fiend twisted his bony body to the left to face her better, noting that she?d followed somewhat. She explained that she?d been bored and looking for adventure. ?She?ll find lots of adventure. Some good for little girl? some not so good,? he commented. There was endless excitement and adventure in the world. Of course, not all of it was beneficial. Like their meeting, perhaps. ?She can jump,? he glanced back to the whole, ?but Caesar does not help if she slips.? It was decently wide ? wide enough that he himself would not try jumping. A bigger wolf with longer legs might though.

He shrugged his shoulders, more to stretch and humor his antsy muscles than to gesture. When the child?s voice tickled his ears again, he cocked his head with a quick, bird-like motion. Rarely did anyone ever compliment him, or ?like? anything about him. ?She does?? the ghoul questioned curiously. Caesar himself was rather indifferent to the mars. Some found scars and the like ugly and disfiguring, while others found them beautiful. He did not care for them, or his appearance at all, really. That much was obvious. Momentarily forgetting what they looked like, he glanced down to his forelegs. A few naked pink slashes here and there on skinny legs. He had other ones too, he knew, but he couldn?t see those.
