As per usual she wanted to know the layout of the land. Learn all she could of every section of the turf she had come across, from Boreas to Auster and back again. When she'd discovered there was a distinct difference in how their weather patterns worked she decided to keep that information at the forefront of her memories. After all it could come in handy especially when she sought out herbs for an expanding collection should another fall ill or injured.

When her paws led her to a place with a plethora of berries she blinked. The berries were everywhere. Many looked rather dry however due to the overbearing heat. Which had her feeling thankful she had decided to travel before the sun got too high in the sky and would rest during it before moving onward.

Giving each plant a sniff as she moved every couple of minutes to the next bush she sought out any berry that wasn't too ripe, but just ripe enough to be of use to eat a few and take them with her on a rolled up leaf. Some berries had healing properties while others were just a fruity snack to tide one over until meat could be garnered.

Sometimes when she was really having trouble walking helped ease the stress. Today this was not the case - much to her frustration. It was nice to see all lands she's yet to explore, however it wasn't distracting enough. If only she had the guts to face things that caused her such upset. Instead here she was, running away again like a coward. Nice.

The smell reached her first, a combination of sweet, sour and tart that could only mean berries. While not particularly interested in the berries themselves, she found herself intrigued and soon enough Cae was trotting off on her way to see what she could see.

A flicker of a memory flashed it's way through her mind, leaving Caelum thinking she may have been here before. Whether or not she'd seen the location at some point before, it did nothing to make the place less beautiful. The weather was different here, much warmer and more enjoyable, which of course meant that fruiting plants would still be producing a plethora of tasty treats. It made Cae think her little bird friend might enjoy this place. She hadn't seen him today, though perhaps she'd simply not noticed the little feathered creature. Making her way slowly through the maze of bushes, it took quite a bit of wandering before she found she was not alone.

The girl was, t least from her appearance, much younger than Cae, clad in a dark pelt that probably kept in a whole lot of heat in this warm weather. Not really feeling like being hesitant, Caelum approached the other wolf with a kind smile, a soft bark letting the stranger know she was there. It was rarely a good idea to approach too quietly, especially with unfamiliar wolves.

Giving her customary gentle tail wag and soft smile, she sat a short distance away greeting the girl warmly, "Hello there! Nice day for berry picking, hm?"
