The female was so heavy by now she felt like she was going to pop. Nothing else in the world mattered to her except delivering these lives safely into the world. The female was within her den, resting her body with her head upon her paws. The contractions had begun a little bit ago, though the female had been hesitant to call for Liar. Marina had gone through birthing on her own once before… surely she could do it again, right? The female gave a soft whine as another contraction shook her form. The rainbow marked female wasn’t sure how long it would take her this time… how many children there would be. Would Liar come before she had the little ones? Should she call him after all? What if something went wrong? Marina flicked her ears back, lifting her head slightly as she shifted again. One way or another the babies were coming. Giving in Marina decided she’d call for Liar. If he was here at least she’d know that if something happened to her the babies would be safe. Tilting her head back the female let loose her howl, hoping her love would hurry. ""

Of course in his guts he was worried, but he'd pray to Itsume that Marina would be safe during her birth. He wanted nothing more than for all of them to be together. So as he was always nearby the call didn't take long for him to answer. Liar cautiously crawling near the place she had chosen to give birth. He knew some women to be protective and not let the fathers near their young - his first wife had been such. So he stayed at least a fair distance away until it would be given clear that he was allowed any closer. "Let me know if you need anything. I can grab you water." he was no healer - but at least water would help right? He would be here and perhaps even his kids nearby. Though he hadn't scented them much - not fresh anyway. Exploring, who knew. Either way Liar would be here to protect her and her pups from any dangers that might try to snatch at the pups. "Talk"

Hearing Liar’s voice was comforting, though the male kept his distance from her and the den for the moment. The female breathed in, trying to steady herself. Her anxiety was acting up… and she wished with all of her heart that her brother were here right now. She missed Spencer terribly… But searching for him had not been something the femme considered. If he had gone again he had gone again, simple as that. A low whine escaped her again, and the female edged closer to the mouth of the den so she could see Liar. “Just stay close…” The female’s voice was soft, practically begging the man not to leave her. She glanced towards her belly, ears remaining lowered. “I’m a bit scared…” The female whispered. “If anything goes wrong, Liar… please take care of them.” Another sharp pang raced through the female, causing her to cringe. The first of their children was going to be here any minute. "Talk" "You" Think

Of course the man would stay nearby. A soft coo coming from his throat, like a growl but more of an offer of comfort. As he hovered over the entrance rather protectively. He would take a seat while he dipped his head for a moment. "You'll do fine Marina, do not worry. Both you and or children will be here in the end. Kicking, living, breathing." he reassured her carefully. Yet of course, even if the gods were to be unkind he would be here for them. They had a whole family of support. Ash and Vadim, Ramsay even. In the end they would be loved - but he wouldn't wish to have Marina missing from the picture either. The male's tail would flick from side to side impatiently. He wouldn't let it known it was painful to watch her, but he would be here for the birth of his children. Two beatiful boys just as they imagined. Into the world growing strong. They'd be the first generation in his pack - the new blood and he was proud of them just as he was proud of all of his children thus far. "Talk"

Marina gave a small nod, feeling the contractions rack her body all the more strongly. The female shivered, knowing what needed to happen next even if she was afraid. If she didn’t give birth to the children it meant death for all of them. The female began to push, following her instincts as it lead her through her third birthing process. Not once did she have a healer with her during that process… but that didn’t mean anything bad was going to happen. She tried to take a breath to reassure herself. She could do this! Then, at last, her efforts were rewarded with a rather large pup. His base coat was pretty dark, though the lighter colors, an off white it looked like at first for some and white for the others, suggested he might have more coloring. After cleaning her firstborn she decided to let Liar know what was going on. “A little boy…” Marina called, lifting her gaze up towards the mouth of the den. “Right now his coat is both light and dark… I don’t see any definite rainbow colors, but he seems to be healthy.” The little one at her side was breathing, chest rising and falling as he he was shifted to her side. He latched on with great strength to a teat, suckling deeply to get the nourishment that he needed. Marina found her heart going to the little one almost immediately. “Gods Liar he’s beautiful…” Her soft voice came again “What should we name him do you think?” "Talk" "You" Think

The first pup was just as they imagined. Black coated like his mother though, Liar would smile towards the sight of the boy. Strong, he attached himself to Marina in no time. Beautiful - this wasn't his first time seeing birth but of course it warmed his heart. When Marina asked him what his name should be he chuckled softly curling his tail around his haunches as he sat and tried to relax. "He looks like a void. Chasm?" he suggested softly. He knew his names weren't the most traditional. However she could always reject the idea as well. "Talk"

The little one was born into the world, wiggling and squeaking as his mother cleaned him. This was the most innocent the child would be in all of his life. For now his mind was focused on only two things; warmth and food. The child, being more on the large side, squirmed to his mother’s side with her aid. Little did she know that one day he’d bear a rainbow marked coat too, just of a lighter hue than she herself bore. The little boy, blind and deaf to the world, didn’t even know that he was already being named. He was ignorant to all of that and more, latching onto a teat and beginning to nurse with all his strength so that he might be able to grow big and strong.

The female could feel her heart swelling with pride the more she looked at the little one. He was perfect, though the contractions that still shook her body told her he was not the last of this litter. Would they really have two boys, as Liar and she hoped? Would they come to be marked with extravagant rainbows and shock the world with their looks and personalities? She could only hope. When Liar spoke the child’s name Marina gave an approving nod. “Chasm…” The female spoke the name lovingly. “Chasm… bearing the name Syndrome after my darker side, to never forget, to embrace… and Walker…” Marina was smiling to herself as she looked up at Liar. “To know that his sire’s blood runs through his veins. He will be Chasm Syndrome Walker… a product of his parents and a wolf all his own.” The female felt the pain worsen, and once more she began to buckle down, preparing to bring a second, and the last, child into the world. Liar couldn't help the smile that curled on his lips. The same as it had been with his last litter. He was so proud of all of them. Even Greed, at the end of the day when the sun set they were still all his children. As such he watched Chasm so carefully, the large boy. When Marina stirred once more his ears would flick forward. The next child would look more like him than it would Marina. The two would indeed cause much trouble together but would take the family by storm in the future. Liar was concentration and he also kept a eyeful outside of the den to make sure no predators could get to them. The gods graced them today, and they graced them beautifully. "Talk"

…and so the pains worsened. Marina was breathing hard, doing her best to steady herself as the second child came into the world. She knew she had little to fear with Liar outside the den… he would protect her and the new lives she was bringing into this world. The female took slow breaths, working her body to push out the second child. He was a little easier, being smaller than Chasm, but not by much, and once he entered the world Marina turned to clean him just as she had her first little one. …and so it was, a second child, looking more like Liar than herself. But there were darker patches on him too, almost a blueish hint. Marina shook her head with wonder, carefully moving the smaller male up next to his brother. “A second male, Liar… this one looks like he’s got blue markings on him. Their faint, and it could be a trick of my eyes but…” The female chuckled softly. “They seem as exotic as yours do, my love…” Marina paused, curling around her newborns. She waited, but the pain seemed to be ebbing away. Two… Truly the Gods smiled upon them this day. Celeste and Nox would be especially pleased… perhaps… perhaps this was a sign for her. Marina found tears stinging her eyes. Tears of joy. “A perfect litter…” The female whispered, her voice wavering. “Liar come in… come see them up close… come see your new sons!” Her voice grew excited again, bi-colored eyes shifting to the brute at the mouth of the den.
