Sunshine filtered into the den that led the young Viho from the darkness out into the light having woken from his slumber. He was never very far from his parents or his siblings, he felt the need to protect them after all; especially Etain. Yet his curiosity had stirred deeper that morn as chickadees sang somewhere within the terrain hidden from view by the tall blades of grass.

Waddling through the grass he tilted his nose up to sniff the air. There seemed so many scents to investigate all the time. Yet he dare not stray too far away from the site of his and his siblings birth least trouble should arise.

Turning to his right a growl escaped him as a blade of grass moved. Followed by more as the wind overhead whipped on by. Without hesitation he jumped forward ready to pounce.

Things had been far too quiet for the near-yearling's liking. Their father was clearly aging, something Valor didn't like at all, and their mother was still non-existent in their lives. They were about at the age where they could start learning things, and yet something told Valor he'd be hard pressed to find anyone to teach him. Nowadays he felt guilty bugging their dad for anything and he was too angry at their mother to go even try and find her. He could easily blame her for the disappearances of his siblings. It was only him and Fable now and it'd been a few days since he'd seen Exodus. Their family was falling right to pieces and he wasn't even a year old quite yet. The young male padded through the grass as he let his paws kick up dust and disturb the stalks in his wake. It was a lazy and annoyed sort of walk that told the story of how irritated he was. His walk didn't last very long before the wind ruffled his pelt and he saw a young pup just about ready to pounce on something. His young nature kicked in and he padded over quietly to investigate what the boy was doing. He'd been aware of the pups before, but he'd never met any of them yet. "What are you doing?" he whispered, just in case he was hunting a mouse. He didn't smell any close by, but it was better to be safe than sorry. Walk, "Talk" Think

There was naught beneath the youths paws but the grass. Only the wind had disturbed the movement of the bending grasses as they danced to its tune. He blinked and glanced at the older pup, nearly looking full grown from his own stand point. "Fighting the enemy! But they're invisible!" He grunted, but it sounded a bit more like a squeak.

He was just playing after all. "I got to practice so I can protect Etain." She of his two litter-mates truly needed the most care. He worried for her. It didn't matter that she was different. Only that if she could not protect herself when the need arose he wanted to be there at her side, to help her.

With a blink he asked, "Who are you? Are you friend or foe?"
