Etain hurried over to the shore of the lake and stopped right at the edge of the water so that the water just barely lapped at her pale paws. Her tail wagged back and forth, making her butt wiggle a bit with the motion. She had learned not to wag her tail toooo hard though so she wouldn't knock herself over. She was excited to be out with her brothers! They didn't get out on their own too much, at least not yet, but she had her bigger brothers to watch after her so it was totally safe! She was sure of it! She looked back over her shoulder to make sure they were still following along behind her. "Look at all tha water, guys!" she called happily as she looked back out at the water with a light giggle. It was hot out today so the water on her front paws felt nice. She squinted and looked out at the big rock toward the middle of the lake curiously. She wished she could go out there and see what it was like! She didn't know how she'd get there though... "Wouldn't it be cool to fly?" she asked as she looked back and forth between her brothers, her tail wagging again. It was a childish, dream-like wish, but it would make getting places a lot easier and faster!!

Not wanting to be left behind he followed after Etain. His pace unhurried so long as he could keep up with her and keep an eye out for any potential danger. Sometimes even going so far as to growl at a stick on the ground, or the shadow of a tree. Just in case.

He blinked as she mentioned the water. With a sniff he moved closer to it and growled, "You better behave water. You have a beautiful young lady in your presence." He touched his paw to the waters edge and glowered at the ripple it made before he turned to glance back at Etain.

"It would." If they could fly he could keep a better eye out from above. Yet he doubted they were capable of flight. Unfortunate.

"I wonder how hard it is to swim." He stepped back up to the waters edge and placed a paw into the shallows. Felt the sand and mud below the bit of water squish between his toes.
