hang on to the glory at my right hand
The thundering sound wouldn't stop, and it was driving Nati absolutely nuts. When she'd caught that rabbit, she hadn't been so hungry yet. Mainly, she was bored and knew she needed food, so she was going to eat. But life, as it always does, got right in the way, and Natiel's charitable spirit had her donating her kill to one who certainly had more need for it.
Now, though, her stomach grumbled in protest at her decision and she resented the frightened brute for devouring his meal before her eyes so recently. She left him behind, at least for the moment, convinced that if she waited any longer to hunt she'd end up eating him (or actually just verbally tear into him, which emotionally might strike him as equivalent). She stalked across The Range, her gaze passing impatiently over odd plants and structures in search of a meal. She tried to think of anything to drown out the sounds of her gut, but her mind wouldn't drift from FOOD. Sure, it hadn't been that long since she ate last, but it felt like she was dying. And there was no way she'd let herself starve to death. Ever.
