Geneva had just about enough of roaming around by herself. She had gone to the north to see the snow and ice and now she was in the south in some new strange land. The Range had a multitude of plants and strange structures and objects around. Right now, she was too tired and hungry to explore. Heading to what looked like the barn (though she didn't know what the heck it was) she inspected the inside to see if it was safe. All Geneva wanted to do right now was sleep.

Seeing nothing inside that would cause any danger, minus the light rays that made their way in through the roof, she slipped inside and laid down on a soft patch of dirt and grass. Geneva's paws were sore and tired, almost blistered from her long travels. It had been days since she last ate or drank. Her stomach panged with hunger pains as she looked out of the doorway wondering if she would ever eat again. Sadness overtook her tiredness as a tear rolled down her cheek. She now regretted ever leaving home regardless of what happened there.

At least the weather was halfway decent. While the smells of the old farmlands and the musty barn wafted into her nose, the temperature was quite pleasant and the sun was setting. It was a true autumn day which Geneva appreciated, but unless she had something to eat her mood and body weight wouldn't improve. As a pup, she shouldn't have been so hungry or slightly skinny like she was. She was capable of hunting mice and scavenging off of other kills, but it wasn't enough to keep her fed. She could only hope for a miracle at this point.
