Snow crunched beneath the males paws as he trekked northward. The structure rising above the ground and towering over him, casting shadows across the ground and across his form. Amber gaze looked up at it as he stopped. It had been a long time since he'd been here. Last he remembered was when his family had come to join up with the crippled Adravendi's pack, when his father had been made a promise only to find that it would be untrue. He snorted, lip curling slightly. That was over now, she was dead and was probably nothing but fur and bones now. His father too, but his fate had been inevitable. Continuing on, he stepped upon the surface of the ship, nails clicking on the odd surface and he made his way towards the front of the ship. He wasn't here for anything in particular, though maybe searching for his sister. During his fight with that little woman Solveiga, he had heard her howl...but he couldn't quite figure out where his sister was. Maybe he traveled further than he should have, but going back to old haunts made sense to him. Tail bumped lightly against his hind legs as he sniffed at the ship, though nothing really seemed to catch his interest here. With the sun at its highest peak, he hopped up on an overturned barrel to look out over the lands below. It was quiet here. Cold. Though it wasn't winter yet, the cold never really seemed to let go of its grip on the north lands.

He wasn't sure what had brought him back here. Ever since running into the large male and his mate he'd been reluctant to come anywhere near this place. With the entire north at his disposal to wander as he saw fit there really was no reason to come back here. Curiosity had gotten the better of him though. He'd finally found that his paws had led him back to the giant hulking object. The scents around it were still there, but faded slightly and different, but not fresh enough to concern him. He still had no intention of going back inside it any time soon. Almost getting into a fight once was good enough for him - he wasn't going to push his luck that much.

He stopped at the base of the ship and was going to sniff around some more until a scent was carried to him on the breeze. His head rose in alarm and his head swiveled to look around each side of him to find the source only to find that he was alone. The scent was the same as the ones who'd been living here, but it was still alarming enough to make him wary. He was done with surprises - he'd had enough of them. Finally his head raised upwards to peer towards the top of the ship. He couldn't see if anyone was on the deck but if someone was really with him they had to be up there. Right?

"Hello?" he called out hesitantly. At least he had more time to run away if he needed to if someone was actually inside or on top of the thing while he was outside.

"Hello?" A masculine voice pulled the male from his thoughts, his amber gaze tearing away from the view of the frozen world around him. Who was that? A stranger he knew for a fact, because it didn't sound like anyone he knew. Turning and hopping off his perch, he padded back the way he came. It didn't take long for him to discover a large brute standing some distance away at the base of the Antiox. He said nothing for a long while, the tri-colored male merely studied the other. He looked a fine specimen, his coat dark and quite the contrast against the their white surroundings. Quietly, he made his way a bit closer to the other male, his own muscles rippling with each step as he drew nearer. "Hello yourself, boy." He replied at last, his voice neutral. While he didn't come around looking to fight, it was all his life was really surrounded by. This male...if he chose to fight, then Enigma would shove his face in the snow, but first...he'd see how this went. "You live around here?"

Mortar stood silently as he waited on edge. His muscles felt tense as he waited for someone to answer, but he was met with only silence. He would have believed that there really was no one there except the newer masculine scent told him otherwise. There was somewhere there - he was sure of that. It probably would have been best for him to walk away, but he'd shut down that part of his brain for the time being. Curiosity had definitely won out.

Fortunately (or unfortunately, that had yet to be decided) he didn't have to wait until too much longer before a mostly pale colored wolf with a few markings caught his attention. He studied the smaller male for a brief moment before taking a hesitant step backwards. His trust for others still wasn't very high and after the few encounters he'd had with some less than savory individuals he found it was best to keep his distance.

"I don't really live anywhere at the moment? What about you?" he returned the question still feeling slightly on edge. It bothered him that he hadn't had a place to call home in a while either, but at least he had someone to travel with. Delaney had more more than perfect company.
