Don't Wanna Know.
He slowed down a bit, taking time to navigate the mucky terrain best not to slip up so early. Despite it being night, the place was still rather humid causing him to pant as he searched out some water. Where he might go from here he knew not, things best left unsaid to rot in the dirt. As he should also be doing. Up ahead was a small alcove of aqua, a tilted smile upon inky lips as he approached his target. Without bothering to wait he flung his filthy hide into it, a satisfying splash rang out as he merged with it. Now, this was more like it. He pranced about as if he might only be a pup, despite the grey that betrayed him upon his muzzle.
Something was wriggling just under the surface, a fish perhaps. Curiosity came back around to kill him, and without further ado he proceeded to jump through the water, sending it everywhere while creating an awful racket. Snapping at the things as they moved, he drifted off again into his own corner of reality, where he didn't have to think so much. This spell was bound to run thin soon, oblivious to the fact that he might not be so alone after all. Because perhaps this was exactly where he needed to be, doing nothing whatsoever as the world continued to decay around him.
"Speech."
Sleep had finally decided to grace her with its heavy blanket of black and nothingness, an amazing peaceful night seemed to await the giantess. It was not to last however, and the thunderous crash of water, and the whispered rush of droplets heading her way brought her to full awareness. As the drops of water hit her dark colored head, the woman growled deeply with displeasure and listened. From her spot on the bank, within her thicket of dead azalea bushes, Naamah watched the pale fiend as he crashed uncaringly through the water. "Stop, fiend!" She cried, sending her companion into the sky with reverberating, screeching caws of alarm and outrage. She stood to her full height, her head held high and proud, her black tail lashing the air above her hips. "You be fouling my coat, I want the vengence!" Her tone was short, barking, and full of hostility. Her english slipping into a more broken state than usual, causing her frustration to be amplified. Lilith demanded payback, how dare he tarnish them with his foul cast offs! There would be blood! "Naamah" "Lilith" Think Scroll over for translations. |
At first, he wasn't quite sure what to say.
She appeared from nowhere, a siren in his midst as he swung around to face here. Ears flung forth to scoop up her foul vocabulary, ignoring the bird least he become an after dinner snack. Heart jolting once, otherwise he betrayed no emotions as he cast an electric stare in her direction. Despite the awkward timing he could not deny the relish it felt to have company, so many ages spent alone he'd almost take anything right about now.
She screamed something at him, smiling despite it all because damn. He tilted his head, eyebrows raised as he contemplated a suitable response. She was much bigger then him, that was ok though, dynamite comes in small packages. Well, this was going no where fast. He decided to look at the bird after all, hunger rumbling twice over. If only he could reach it. Odd, that a wolf would seek such company, but he was new here, who was he to judge?
At long last his gaze returned upon her, deciding as usual to just go with it. Licking his lips, he proceeded to declare his proclamation. "Well, aren't you cute." She spoke the same word his brother was named, dissatisfied at the thought of him."I think everyone's looking for that sweetheart." his voice half way raspy, he continued to grin like no tomorrow. Because who knew, there might not be.
Smiling at her like a court jester, daring to use that most hated word in her direction. The male was stacking quite a large case against him with the shadowy goddess, her black ears turned to catch his words. A growl emits from Naamah, but she flicks her black tail and grouses no more. "First sleep, FIRST SLEEP! I never get dreams that are being so beautiful, I had it. I HAD IT AND YOU BE TAKING IT AWAY!" Her ashen paws carry her back and forth like a caged jungle cat, her blood colored gaze not moving from him one bit. Corvus squawked on from the branches of a tree, and the woman lashed her tail and tossed her head. "I am wanting it back, you owe me. Nap time to be guarded for your interruption, I name time and where." Her tone was even, though it carried on a rumbling growl. "Naamah" "Lilith" Think Scroll over for translations. |
He wasn't quite sure how to deal with this.
It sounded as if she was propositioning not a fact he really minded, but he didn't want to get on the wrong side of yet another bitch. He supposed it was his fault, because most of the time it was. Luckily he landed on his feet as often as any cat, and just for fun he exited the water and landed easily besides her. Sniffing her all over, content to realize she wasn't half bad.
" My name is Satchel" it exited his mouth , and he sat down politely besides her. If she attacked he'd deal with it, but he was fucking tired of starting it so for now he'd head in this direction. It was getting increasing difficult to reach out, but that din't mean he was going to slow down any time soon.
" so tell me sugar, what's it gonna take to make you happy?' he was up for almost anything. Keeping a close eye on her just in case, having to unlearn everything his brain was taught.
"Speech."
She regarded him with a pause in her step and a hard glare to her eyes as he sat next to her and spoke. He introduced himself and asked how he could make her happy. The growl that left her mouth was nothing short of murderous, but when she parted her lips to speak it quieted. "I have already telling you. I am to be napping again soon, you are to be watching over me. You wake me, you be making sure no one else is getting same chances." Dark lips pull back in a harsh smile, her anger still coloring everything she said and did. She sat and waited for his answer. The woman had already decided that she would not be sleeping here again, he would have to follow her to her next sleeping location. If he did not acquiesce to her command, she would be forced to take his rude actions out of his hide. Satchel's coat was so pretty and white, she would hate to stain it red with his blood.
