One Lonely Beastie I Be

Ruthgar was finally beginning to feel like he belonged somewhere; The Crew was nothing but a band of trouble-makers and drunkards, which was perfect for the scarred man who, in truth, had no real talents to speak of other than getting outrageously drunk and shit-stirring. The fact that shit stirring was part of the Crew’s very culture had taken him to the top of a great waterfall, deep into the territory of another pack. So far no one seemed to have noticed him and while just being in another pack’s land was an achievement in itself Ruthgar felt it was his duty to take it a step further. He stood over the falls taking in the view as the sun began to sink behind him and took a deep, breath, feeling the wind whip through his silky fur as he closed his eyes. This place was beautiful really. It was just too bad the wolves that lived there were, in Chaos's words: "Boring" and, in his own words; “Mighty shites.” Satisfied, he turned, lifted his leg, and took a piss, the yellow stream falling directly into the river as it flowed over the mountain side.

Lionel was slowly beginning to crawl out of the hole he'd dug himself. The talk with his father had helped and he was beginning to realize he needed to move forward with his life. Besides, how could he be Heather's rock if he was falling to pieces himself. He had to be strong for his family and it'd been a while since he'd felt like he'd been productive. So he'd spent the majority of his day patrolling the border. With the snows beginning to pile up it'd taken longer than he'd expected and he was tired and wet by the time he finished. Hunting seemed out of the question, he was too tired, so he was just about to turn in for the night when a foreign scent caught his attention. What was strange about it was it was a spot he'd patrolled earlier in the day and it definitely hadn't been there before. His nose wrinkled at the pack scent covering the masculine scent and he followed it. It was pack scent but it wasn't Fiori. His pace was quick as he tracked it to the falls and the sight that met him was confusing as well as something that he found angered him. Originally he would have taken what he assumed would be Leo's course of action - question the man to see if he was even aware that he was breaking the rules, but the man's actions clearly stated that he knew what he was doing. The fact that he was pissing in their river angered him. What on earth did he think he was doing? "You need to leave, now." He gave the warning calmly enough, but his voice was stern as he approached and stopped a good five feet away. His tail and head were raised high and his muscles were taut as he stood his ground. He didn't want to get into a fight with the stranger but he wasn't about to let anyone traipse past Fiori's borders either thinking they could get away with it. Walk, "Talk" Think |
