Hunter's Fire

She sat at the border of the moore and the plains. Today was the day and now that she had built up her strength and had been tracking the movements of the prey she was finally ready to call a hunt together. She was more then excited because she also hoped her efforts were pleasing in Regulus' eyes and that she was righting her wrongs. Prancing in place the young women looked into the moore where the hot trail led. She hoped to get some help today because she knew there was at least one easy kill here today, a wounded doe with her spring fawn. She was trailing a group of two or three more doe and she was excited to get to hunting. She tried to settle herself huffing out a breath before she would call together those who were willing to hunt. It was fairly early in the morning, the deer on the move for a feeding ground after a night of light snowfall. Fresh snow and fresh tracks it was enough to make anyone amped up for the hunt. She couldn't remember the last time she had a strong pack hunt and hoped today was the day. Once settled she tilted her head back and let out a strong, loud call to the pack to call them fourth for a pack hunt. While she waited she continued to stare at the fresh trail, licking her lips at the thought of bringing down some deer today. "Talk" & Think |
