Everything was grey and blue- including himself. He never felt like he had blend into a place so well. Flecks of snow fell around him, some settling on his fur. It was almost impossible to tell which dots were snowflakes and which ones were his white freckles.
It was breathtaking. Who knew skirting around Abaven would be so rewarding? If he hadn't been snooping around the thickets, he wouldn't have found this place. It had taken him a while to climb to the edge of one of the cliffs, but he had been so drawn in by the grey-and-white landscape.
Sure it was dangerous, and yeah, his back left paw was still bleeding a bit from what one slip a while ago, but it was worth it. At the top all the greyness plummeted into a slate, wintery sea. The sky was clouded and almost blended in with the ocean. It was so devoid of bright colors. Everything was just like him.
Ashmedai stood, feeling absorbed in the landscape. He felt like if he lay down, he might melt into the scenery and never be found again. That was a little boring, though. It would be more exciting to get a running start and dive straight into the scenery instead. He might just do that sometime. It was probably too cold now, but maybe in the late summer, he would try it. Surely the water below would break his fall... right?

Mystro walked along the Crystallum Cliffs slowly and carefully as he looked around with his purple eyes. He had to admit that this place was rather beautiful. He gave a few sniffs and continued to walk until he saw another wolf and stopped for a moment. He watched him for a while before noticing blood on the floor. It was only a small amount but it showed that the wolf was bleeding. He wasn't a great healer, he still had a lot to learn but perhaps he could help somehow. He walked over to the wolf slowly and carefully and when he reached him he gave a small smile.
"Hello there. My I am Spirit Sage Mystro. I notice you were bleeding, mind if I take a look? I may be able to help somehow."
He gave a small smile and sat himself down. He only meant to help the wolf, of course he meant no harm and his body language didn't show any aggressive nature in him. He only show friendliness and kindness.

Another wolf approached. He scared Ashmedai at first, since Ash was so absorbed in the scenery. The male stood there watching Ashmedai for a while, then mentioned that he was bleeding.
"What?"
Sure enough, when Ashmedai looked down, there was a small trail of blood. Ashmedai looked at his back paw. Was it really that bad? Ashmedai gave it a few licks.
"It's not that bad. See? All better."
The paw continued to bleed, even if just a little. Ash licked it. It bled again. Ashmedai looked to the healer wolf. Okay, maybe this was a little more than just a scrape. Who knows, maybe this wolf had magic healing powers. At least then Ash wouldn't have to favor his paw as he traveled.
"Okay, Sage. What do you recommend?"

Mystro watched as the wolf tried licking away the blood but it just kept bleeding. He came closer slowly and took a look at the paw himself. He stared at it for some time before giving it a few sniffs. It wasn't terribly bad, from what he could see. The paw just needed some rest and a bit of treatment.
"You're going too rough. You need to sit down and rest a few minutes, keep cleaning your paw. I will go see what I can find. I will be back as soon as I can."
He gave a soft bow of his head to him before walking off quickly and carefully. He would leave the mountains and go towards Rustling Thicket, it took him some time to travel down them and when he approached the thicket, he stopped, sniffing the air to scent a pack. He sighed, and turned around. He stayed on the borders as he looked for some Dock. It didn't take him long to find some outside the borders. He gave it a few sniffs before nodding softly. Yes, this would do. Dock was good for sore pads and cuts when chewed up into a poultice, he could use this. He grabbed as many as he could and then looked back towards the mountains. He sighed, and slowly, he began to work his way back up. Hopefully the wolf would still be there.

Augh, why were healers always like this? His paw would be fine. It was just a cut. It would bleed a while, then eventually clog, then heal. That's what cuts did all the times. As long as you kept them clean, what was the problem?
Anyway, the healer decided to get herbs and dipped off. Ashmedai listened and sat still, licking his paw. He had to admit the red blood was a little striking against the greyness of everything. Without realizing it, the time had passed and the healer returned. Ashmedai looked at him without much enthusiasm.
"It's mostly stopped bleeding. I think it'll be fine. I'm gonna climb back down anyway and it'll prolly fall off anyway, so if you don't want to waste your time, I won't be offended."

Mystro heard him speak and shook his head. This boy was young and he clearly did not understand how injuries worked. If he ignored it, the injury would surely get worse. He could not turn a blind eye to that.
"No, your paws will only get worse if ignored. You can sit and rest while I heal you. Do you want to be in so much pain that it hurts to walk?"
He asked a simple question knowing his answer. If he really refused help though, and wished to leave Mystro couldn't stop him. He could only advice him against it. He hoped he could help this wolf, he hoped he could stop the worse from happening.

Why was this dude so persistent? Ashmedai groaned. Ashmedai kicked out his leg, "Fine, treat it if you wanna, but it will prolly fall off on my way back down. Besides, how do I know you aren't gonna poison me or something? You could be a cannibal or... anything really."
Ash shifted, but he didn't pull his paw away, "I think you healers should have some like... god given power to glow or some shit so it's obvious if you're a real healer or not."
Ash didn't know anything about healing anyway. Never tried to.
"Go ahead if you wanna. By the way, where did you learn healing? You don't smell like a pack."
