She had slipped away from the barn unable to sleep in anymore. When she had left Mortar was still asleep. She wanted to get out and do something, but she didn't want to wake her friend so she had decided to slip out so he could continue to sleep. She made sure to leave a good path though, wanting him to know that she was okay and that she hadn't left, plus if he wanted he could certainly fallow and join her. It was a sunny and warm day and in her opinion a perfect spring day. The warm sun felt so good on her back and the rays made her feel even more happy.
Bounding across the range the happy female crossed into a territory beside their makeshift home. It was a pretty territory with lots of small trees. Wagging her tail she walked through, lowering her nose to the ground to take in the different scents in the area. She was curious to know what their next move would be, she figured the barn would only be until winter let up. Now that winter was gone she was unsure what Mortar was thinking would be their next direction.
Grinning she found a small patch of flowers in the orchard and grinned before smelling them. They smelled so delightful. Dropping to her side she rolled in the flowers enjoying the smell and the warm sun.
