Gaius came across this place by chance, finding an immediate interest in the standing pillars and walls. It made him feel secluded and like he was in whole new world. He was so used to all the natural standing mountains and trees; nothing like these stone structures.  Walking around the inside of the loop, he would stop and stand at one of the taller pillars, chin raising high to see the top. Eventually he would take a seat and hold himself at ease, eyes grazing across the other stones. It was funny: Gauis always thought that he had been through so much already that there was nothing new to come across or at least nothing that would surprise him. And here he sat, curious as a pup. He moved into the land and his immediate thought was to find a point and climb to the highest he could. Of course that would take a much smaller man. He wasn't exactly small. At 45" he was the opposite of small. He might as well forget climbing these structures. They looked like if he tried they would come down. It wasn't worth the risk.

He moved on. He was maiming his way with nowhere in mind except tomorrow. Of course that was always the case with him. No destination but tomorrow and of course annoying the locals. Maybe he'd even sleep with a few. He'd have to be picky about his girls though. He didn't want more kids and certainly didn't want love again. No love hurt and got his girls killed. No way in hell he was going to be allowing others to hurt him in such ways again. Though if kids did ever come from his sleeping around arrangements would certainly have to be made. He wouldn't let his flesh and blood grow up fatherless nor for a child to grow up motherless. Shared custody was the best option. That or visitation rights. Though of course it was all asuming he ever ended up with more kids.

He stopped as he came across a male and he sat. He was watching him watch the rock. It was a few moments before he opened his mouth. "Keep watching it, maybe it'll do a trick if you watch it all day." his tone was sarcastic and filled with humor.

Gaius vaguely noticed the male in view, pretty much just ignoring him until he spoke. He didn't seem like any threat and Gaius wasn't one to jump to those conclusions. An ear flicked toward the man but he continued to not make eye contact, instead moving his chin with the base of the stones in the distance. "I suppose it could happen. What do you think, one will jump up and take the shape of a rabbit?" Gauis was a pretty serious wolf but it should have been easy to tell he was joking. He was, but his cold and stale expressions may have stated other wise. He was a little hard to read at times. And of course he liked it that way because then no one could get close to him. He didn't think he could go through another heart break. And definitely not another loss of his family. Walk "Talk" Think
