OOC: First round is due 10/20! That gives you two weeks to post! First round will be everyone arriving and second round will be mandatory for everyone choosing a rank.

OOC again: I suck and forgot to put this in the announcements so we'll extend the due date to December 2nd. Get those posts in!

Since Ganta was home she figured that this was as good a time as any for a pack meeting. They hadn't had one in so long... In fact the last time they had one was probably right before Ganta ran off in search of Philomena. Her ears flicked back at the thought as she headed toward the clearing with Ganta and Ulric. It wouldn't be the same without their daughter, but life did have to go on in some way or another. Their pack didn't deserve to be neglected in the meantime.

She settled onto her haunches, looking to Ulric to make sure he did the same beside her. He was getting so big that very soon he was going to be far too big for her to be babying him like she wanted to. The idea made her smile sadly. He was growing up so fast... Far too fast for her liking. She looked to Ganta then to make sure he was ready as well before she lifted her head to call for the pack, letting him join in if he wanted to do so.

Ganta could hardly believe it either how fast Ulric was growing… He was hardly a baby anymore, yet he was sure that both he and Roza felt that he’d always be their baby. The male walked with him and Roza to the spot where they’d call the meeting, his own thoughts churning. Though they had not found Philomena Ganta wasn’t ready yet to give up on her. Their daughter had to be out there somewhere… she had to be! The brute could feel it. He didn’t know how… but he was sure that his siblings had their daughter somewhere, and alive.

Ganta came to a stop when Roza did, slowly seating himself. The last time they had a pack meeting was the day Philly was taken… and since then the pack had pretty much fallen to the wayside. Ganta felt guilty… missing daughter or not he could not neglect their members any longer, and thank goodness he had Roza to remind him of that. He joined her howl, pressing lightly into his mate as he did so.

She was his rock… and together, as a family, as a pack, they were going to overcome anything.

I'm here without you...

He arrived early as usual; the first member of the pack outside the leading family to answer the call. He stepped toward the pair and their remaining child and laid on the ground before them. “My Lord, My Lady.” He greeted his voice as gruff as ever. Yale had yet to forgive himself for his failure in finding the missing child and returning her to her home but had at least made an effort to appear less melancholy. He wondered if the girl he had encountered on that early autumn morning would appear, or if she would instead be too distracted playing to attend. He would at least meet the child’s mother he supposed and that would at the very least be something interesting.

Dragoste was, apparently, he and Caelum's home now. He had no real attachment to the place - and he doubted he ever truly would; over the years he had learned that survival came easiest when the things you were attached to were far and few between. His mate had convinced him, without much effort, that a pack was the safest place to raise children in. This won't end like last time, he'd told himself more than once. I won't let it.

Hearing Roza's call, Zephyr quickly turned to head toward the gathering. It'd been a long time since he'd attended a pack gathering - and the truth was.. he'd never been to one that wasn't held by him or Caelum. He wondered if he might find himself questioning the leadership here, but he'd resigned himself to caring about those sorts of things less than he once had. As he drew up to the gathering his gaze swept over the few that had arrived, wondering where Caelum and their children were, though he assumed they'd be here soon.

Normally Caelum would have made a point of being on time, but sometimes things happened when you had kids. Today, her kid happened. After hearing the summoning call Caelum had done her best to wrangle the little pest Caelestis, and to her dismay the child seemed bent on stopping every five feet to get lost in looking at something new. "Caelestis!" she called sharply, tone exasperated by this point. "Let's not be late for your first meeting, okay?" Even when frustrated Caelum did her best to remain calm, knowing that eventually her daughter would get the message. Sure enough, after some prompting a dark little head burst forth from the bush she'd been digging around in. "Sorry mom!" The girl called, bounding towards her mother with a sheepish expression, little tail wagging softly. "Just hurry, alright?" Caelum chuckled, shaking her head at the curious girl.

On one hand she was glad she wasn't exactly last since it seemed Inverno wasn't here, but on the other she did hope her friend would show up eventually. Sliding up to sit beside Zephyr and give him a gentle nip on the cheek, Caelum settled their daughter between them and a soft, contented sigh left her. It wasn't the same as home before things went bad, but this place was nice in it's own right. Giving Caelestis a kiss on the head - which was met with squirming and a loud grumble of disgust - Caelum gave her attention to the Alpha pair, smiling warmly.

"Wooow!" the little girl whispered, laying on her belly, eyes wide with wonder as she stared at the funny looking squirrel. This one was different from the others she'd spotted racing around the trees, this one had little white patches - just like her! The creature chittered at her dismissively, crawling towards a nearby tree. "Hey, wait a-" the child didn't get to finish her thought, the voice of her mother cutting in and prompting her to cease her investigation for now. Huffing dramatically, Caelestis hopped up, racing towards her mom. After scrambling out of the bush she'd been concealed in after getting distracted for the umpteenth time on their way to the meeting the little one finally made her way to her mother's side. "Sorry mom!"

Prancing into the meeting with her head held high, the girl was very proud of not getting distracted the whole rest of the way here. Her mom sat by her dad, and after peering at the others gathered here Caelestis decided that her parents probably really wanted her to sit with them, so she'd leave meeting the new faces for later. For her parents sake, of course. NOT because she felt kind of awkward and didn't think she could get up the nerve to introduce herself. For sure not cause of that. Trotting over to her parents, the child sat and received a giant mom tongue to the the head! Gross! Squealing in protest, the girl scrambled to hide between Zephyr's paws, offering her mom a playfully annoyed expression and even going so far as to stick out her tongue.

Once settled, Caelestis peeked at the wolves who seemed to be the ones in charge, bi-colored gaze riddled with curiosity.
