His nose was to the ground and the bulky male moved with quiet steps. He had been fallowing this trail for a while now and the scent was becoming hotter by the minute. He was closing in on the herd and he wanted to take down one of the deer. It would be a lot harder, but he could probably take down one himself. Though he had hoped that maybe there would be others nearby to potentially band with to take down a few of the deer.

Ears pinned forward as his quiet pace quickened, it was early morning and the deer should still be bedded down. Moving with ease into the Nook he quickly took cover as his eyes spotted a young doe up ahead. Within the safety of cover he moved at a wide birth towards the left attempting to check out what all the choices were. Keeping himself down wind from the creatures he managed to find a spot with a much better view.

Crouching the male's eyes took in the figures before them, a small herd of whitetail deer. There was one.... two..... three vary young bucks. Two were spike and one was a button buck. Two older does and two rather young does. All were still laying down, not yet ready to get up.

OOC: Well nevermind, noticed he was inactive too late, good job me

The brown and white man was also stalking the deer from afar, crouching low and eyeing the herd as he slipped through the grass and did his best to remain invisible. He'd partially circled around them, keeping himself where they wouldn't catch his scent. Silver eyes studied the animals, looking for any particular weaknesses that would make one an especially easy target. He'd been considering focusing on one of the older does, but the cough he noticed from one of the young ones had him contemplating changing his mind. Illness made for an easier kill.

He was contemplating the best path for approach when he spotted a stranger far to his right. Normally the idea of attempting to work with others was a bit... daunting, to say the least. However, Lerato's stomach urged him to reconsider his stance until he finally gave in and slowly made his way towards the other wolf. Loud enough for the other male to hear, but not so much that the prey would be scared off.

"Interested in some teamwork?" he asked tentatively, words coming out clearer than usual since he was trying to be quiet and could speak slowly and carefully without seeming odd.
