rebel just for kicks
It was so warm and humid down here. The young fae had been snoozing on and off, with no plan in mind. Forelimbs folded neatly over one another, her jaw rested comfortably atop them. Her hind legs were thrown casually out to the side. The soft moss on the ground was so comfortable, so plush. She sighed contentedly. A soft hum, tuneless and meant only to listen to, was uttered. Eyes shut, she found herself simply listening to the echo of her humming through the cavernous room.
Finding this place had been fantastic, really. Nothing better. All the roots coming out of the ceiling and parts of the walls were great for scratching awkwardly placed itches. The water in the little pools was stagnant, if she went to the wrong one. Not that it was a big deal, she wasn't exactly dying of thirst at this point. What could possibly make this better? She could only imagine, and hope.

Maybe it paid to be a moron, cause down here the temperature was a heck of a lot more pleasant. SHe may never leave! Padding slowly through the room, Maple peered around curiously. It took her a bit to notice the golden woman nearby, reclined and enjoying the place she'd previously had to herself. As soon as Maple laid eyed on the woman she froze, unsure of what to do. Should she go say hi? Or, should she go somewhere else? What did she say? Had she waited too long to talk? Oh, gosh, why did she have to overthink everything?!
Pawsteps, rhythmic as the drip drop of the water falling from the ceiling. She was so comfortable, so mellow, that she couldn't even be bothered. Her humming tapered off into a soft sigh. Any more comfy, and she would fall asleep. Oooh, a nap. That sounded awesome. She shifted a little, easing her forelimbs out from beneath herself. They sprawled out to the side with her hind limbs, and she settled her cheek on the moss. ”Oooh yeah,” She heaved. ”that's the stuff.” Yeah, nap time.
Wait. No. The pawsteps had stopped. Aww, but she was comfy now! Cracking open one eye, she almost instantly located a pale wolf. Small, like she was. With a pretty auburn face. Oh wow. Oh boy. Pretty girl. Lurching into a vaguely vertical position, she tried to arrange herself in a less lazy, loafish way. She lounged much like a sphynx, and grinned as charming as she could. ”Aren't you a breath of fresh air,” She said by way of greeting. Hah! Take that! She wasn't an idiot.. all the time. The last pretty girl had been a fluke. Star babes weren't something she'd ever seen before, and she had been caught off guard.
