"Говорить"

Darya had traveled farther than she ever had before, her small legs growing more powerful every day as she slowly started to grow into her form, though she was still very much visibly a young pup. The girl stood at the edge of the giant forest, hellfire gaze sweeping across the flat horizon. The child had grown up in the cold northern mountains in the grips of a harsh winter so as she gazed out over the empty snow field she felt only comfort at a familiar setting.

With a grin split across her face, the child bound happily across the plain field. Her paws were quickly outgrowing her still small form, her true adult size starting to show through, so her frolicking was not graceful by any means. She stumbled from time to time, though she kept going a high, giggle escaping her lips.

It was amazing how quickly her joy turned to panic though, as with an almost too loud crashing the world crumbled beneath her hind legs. Luckily for the girl she had been mid bound as the ground slid away. Still it startled her enough she lost her balance, landing heavily on her right side, skidding slightly. The girl stared, wide eyed at the gaping maw that had nearly swallowed her whole. Slowly rising to her paws again she walked over to the edge of the abyss. A wave of nausea rolled over her and she slowly backed away.

This time she knew what the sound was when the earth beneath her hind paws once more opened up. With a squeal she jumped forwards slightly, feeling real fear grip her now. Suddenly she wasn't sure where she could stand. As far as Darya was concerned the ground could decide to swallow her up right now and then she'd- well she wasn't sure where she would end up but she was certain she wouldn't be coming back. A whimper pulled from the girl and her eyes began to water, she was now frozen to where she stood.

Dream Chaser

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Uriel wasn’t so sure that this was the safest part of the North to travel within, especially since the ground seemed less than stable in places here. The Earth would open a like a great maw in those places, swallowing up what snow remained in the North. Uri didn’t like it, and truthfully she was trying to work her way out of the area. But goodness forbid that she be able to do so without running into some sort of trouble…
...only it wasn’t she whom was in trouble at that moment.
Shri’s call came to her on the wind and Uriel’s head snapped up. Her gaze landed on a child… and the gaping Earth behind her. Everything at that point seemed to happen automatically -- Uri was running towards the pup, calling to her without even fully registering who she was.
“Get away from the crater! This way!”
Fear welled up inside her… what if the little one fell in one of those craters? Would… would she be able to get her out…?
Shri winged down to the gray pup, fluttering in the air as she hovered.
“You can trust her, child! Come on!”
"Говорить"
As if things couldn't get any worse, a voice called out to her and Darya snapped her gaze upon a very large form barreling towards her. Overcome with fear of both the instability of the earth beneath her paws and the sudden appearance of the much bigger wolf had her nearly hysterical and this time she began to cry. "мама" she whimpered, her fear driving her to her mother tongue. "Мама поможет!" She fought against the natural urge to back up, knowing if she did she'd likely fall into the earth.
A white bird fluttered down towards her, speaking words in the tongue of her father. The child sniffed, unsure wanted to trust a random wolf and it's bird, still she didn't really see she had much choice. Darya took a step towards the bigger woman; it was slow, painfully slow, and even as she moved the tears flowed freely down her face and her tiny form shook.
