Pyralis wasn't quite sure what had possessed her to swim all the way out here. Well, that wasn't true. It was curiosity plain and simple. But it was also the lure of the crescent shaped island on a night when a crescent moon was pulsing with shimmering light that danced on the waves like a hypnotic melody. She couldn't resist. She had to go and investigate it for herself. Shaking the water from her pelt, and hopefully most of the salt, she made her way along silver beaches. Wasn't this a lovely little place? The night was cool and alive with the buzzing of insects and the rustling of wildlife. She wasn't exactly here to hunt, only to explore. Pyralis let out a bark to her companion, Alkali, who was drifting along the air currents but had yet to land. She wasn't sure if her companion would join her but if not then that was her loss!
