The pack had been too lax, including him. Though Kairi took up a lot of his time and after Faite's absence, he decided it was time to get up and start doing something other than playing with Kairi all the time. Now that Faite was back, he was feeling better and a little less perturbed when she had been gone. He stretched outside of his den and shook off any dirt that had clung to his pelt. With the change of the season, the snow was melting and with it would come warmer temperatures. He had been patrolling the borders a lot, and a certain smell in the territories disturbed him. He had scented the strange rainbow child that Faite had taken in some time ago, but her scent was different. He didn't bother to confront her about it though, figuring the foreign girl would refuse to tell him. He thought Kairi was a wild one, always going off and exploring...but even she had the sense to stay out of trouble.

Whether or not he smelled was true, he was going to call everyone together for some training today. The pack had never really had fight training, and it was high time they brushed up on their skills. After all, who knew when someone would invade or if they'd have to defend themselves. His former pack had been keen on going to war with another pack, and Lirim could be next. Maybe it was paranoia, but whatever the case, they needed to be prepared and he needed to get more involved.

Leaving his den, Zell took off to the middle of the valley. Once there, he threw his head back and howled, calling all members of the pack together. While he knew Kairi had never been in a fight before, it was only a matter of time he was sure...and his children? They needed to know how to defend themselves. They all needed to be prepared in general for whatever might come in the future.

OOC// Mandatory for all members of Lirim! Those who don't show may face consequences. First rounds due by 1/31!

The second Breasal heard his father howl he hurried to go meet up with him. Everything had been so quiet lately and Breasal had done little other than keep to himself. He had been doing some training here and their on his own with his hunting and fighting defenses, but he knew that if nothing else he should be spending time with his family. He wasn't entirely sure why he hadn't been, but at least now he had a chance to make up for that and do some training at the same time. It was pretty hard to practice fighting on his own. He quickly realized that he had somehow been the first to arrive at his dad's training which he was certainly proud of himself for. He grinned and trotted over to Zell with his tail wagging gently. "Hello, Father!" he said as he settled down on his haunches to wait for the rest of the pack to show up. He couldn't tell what he was more excited about - seeing his siblings or training.

Ooc. Being vauge about potential injuries from his currently ongoing spar. Also minor pp allowed by Asena to have Jewell show up.

Torin felt a sort of thrill of anxiety and joy wash over him when he heard his father's call. He had been meaning to seek out Zell since the meeting and even more so since he'd started picking up on Jewell's anxiety about him and yet... Well it hadn't happen obviously. He wasn't sure how to even remotely begin to express the things he wanted to say.

Slowly he rose to his paws, he'd been taking a rare break in between shadowing Frostbite during patrols and checking up on Jewell. But it seemed that was to be for naught. He stretched and yawned, and shook the dirt from his pelt. The scent of his adoptive sister reached his senses and Torin waited silently for her approach. No doubt she wanted to answer Zell's call with him.

They padded together, Torin taking a slightly more forwards position as the walked, he was silent, quietly thinking though he'd occasionally glance behind him and give his sister a reassuring smile.

When they arrived he quickly identified the only other two wolves to show up thus far. Torin gave his father a silent dip of his head, still unsure exactly where they stood. He then settled himself beside Breasal, nudging his brother playfully and then gestured for Jewell to sit on his other side.

The call reached her ears as she was out checking her snares and traps. She couldn't imagine why Zell would want everyone there, he'd made it clear to her last time she'd seen him. He didn't like her and wouldn't tolerate her being near him. Now that she was pregnant she had even more reason not to want to get in his way or be near him. He'd be angry with her and she would be able to do nothing. She didn't even know how to start defending herself. Trust was a thing she didn't have for many here in the pack, aside from Torin, Faite, Star, and Frost.

Torin was who she was closest with and that's how she was starting to like it. Just her, and eventually, because she had no choice unless she wanted to abort inoccent lives, her children, with torin stopping in on occassion. She moved towards Torin's den, stashing her prey on the way between there and her den. She didn't want to be late, and would rather not arrive without her best friend as back up if she needed it. Though she wasn't sure if Torin would be able to stand up tho his dad if he had to, his dad was a warrior with good reason.

She arrived and Torin was waiting already. She aimed to give him a quick soft headbutt before they moved on. She didn't want to speak right now. She was a bundle of nerves and Alois was above them watching her to ensure nothing happened. The bird was becoming one of her rocks in this, Torin being her other. As they arrived Jewell stopped, staying back with her ears back, suddenly feeling very subconscious about her situation. Zell would find more reason to hate her for sure. She wished Faite was here with Frost as well. They might of been able to keep him from being so angry with her. Her tail tucked and she moved quickly to the side Torin motioned her to. She didn't speak, only lowered her head and tried her best to sit in a way that would best hide her gently swollen gut. She was learning already, when zell was around she was best to shut her mouth.

Faite as Jewell's guardian is allowed in any and all her threads regardless of the tag. She may enter as she see's fit.

Jaidah was just starting to leave the pack once again when she heard her father's call ring out for the entire pack.  With a soft huff, the young woman moved to turn her creamy paws around and responded with a howl as she made her way toward the gathering. It didn't take long for her to reach them and as she did, she noted her siblings already arriving, notably absent were Kairi and Rory, but she figured they would be along soon enough. Jaidah didn't speak, instead she kept looking out at the nearest border and wished she had just continued on her newest journey. No matter, she would go on her adventure later. For now, she supposed she should at least figure out what they were doing. It could be rewarding after all!
Jaidah smells like cinnamon and pumpkin spices, she also has bi-colored eyes, her right eye is yellow, left blue.

Zell's voice rang out across the pack and it had the tan head of Stardust lifting from the floor of her den. She had been resting after an excursion out hunting for herbs and other useful items that would help her care for pups and sick wolves. She was also spending a lot of time with Jewell, ensuring the woman was still coping with her guilt and the trauma that had happened. Stretching out, she sat outside her den and howled to let both Zell and Frost know she was on her way. She couldn't be sure of where Frost was, but she assumed it was on another patrol or even a hunt of some sort. Setting off at a leisurely jog, Star bounced her way toward the valley and grinned when she spied Torin and Jewell. She moved to sit very close to Jewell, sidling up to her to help her hide herself. Even though she was unsure what caused this insecurity, Star would do what she could to help her friend and packmate feel more secure around the others.

Faite had spent her time since she was home relaxing and catching up with her family. Rory had had more than enough to tell her about what she'd miss. Mostly she'd just enjoyed herself as she got some meat on her bones and gave her paws a break after all the traveling she'd done. Now that she'd gotten some much needed sleep and had put on a little weight she was more than ready to get back into the swing of things. She'd debated on taking hold of Lirim from Rory, but that would mean demoting him and he had done such a wonderful job in her absence. Not only that, but him being alpha meant she had more freedom to do as she pleased without all the responsibilities resting on her shoulders. She'd have time to spend with her kids and Zell now and that was something she wanted more than anything.

While she wasn't keen on picking up leadership duties again, she was more than ready to be doing something. Luckily for her Zell's howl caught her attention. Now that was exactly what she was looking for! She hadn't had a good spar in ages so she happily headed towards where everyone was gathering. Other than Zell, four out of her six children were there already as well as Stardust. So far it was a pretty good turnout. She glanced towards Jewell, surprised to see the little rainbow colored girl there, before she padded over to Zell and flopped to sit beside him with her shoulder pressed against him.

"This should be fun, pair me against someone challenging if we're doing spars." She said softly with a grin. "It's been a while since I've had a good fight."

Well he was home and yet he didn't feel the same amount of joy that Faite had. He'd also spent his time recuperating, but unlike his aunt, he didn't have the rest of his family to enjoy seeing. As it turned out, Zuriel and Daelos had gone off on a trip of their own and Miach was left by himself. Sure, he could have hung out with his aunt or cousins, but Faite was still rather mad at him and he didn't know his cousins well enough to seek them out. So far most of them seemed far too happy and bubbly for his liking. Rory was the alpha so that was out of the question. So far he wanted to stay under the radar before he got himself in more trouble. He already couldn't leave the territory so that wasn't helping with the boredom either. It was days like this he kind of missed Abyzou. At least she knew how to have fun.

Zell's call was unexpected and Miach debated on whether it was something he could ignore. He'd never really viewed the larger male as an authority figure, but he'd been gone since he was a pup so it wasn't as though he'd really learned a lot on respecting authority figures. He sat underneath the tree he was under for a good minute contemplating on whether or not he should go before he finally rose to his paws. He was the lowest ranked member in the pack and he had no intentions of staying there. Not being able to leave the territory without permission and supervision wasn't something he wanted to live with so he figured showing up to things would be his best bet.

He took his time reaching the others, but even with that amount of laziness he still wasn't late. Not by a long shot at least judging by the amount of wolves that were in Lirim. A few of his cousins were still not here and then there were some adults missing as well. He glanced around for a moment longer before taking a seat at the edge of the group. He didn't feel like getting all friendly with anyone right now.

She'd been out treasure hunting again when she heard her dad's call. What was it for? He was obviously calling everyone together, which was a first...she thought, anyway. Honestly she never really paid attention to who called what and when, but today she had heard it and went dashing madly towards her father. She raced across the valley, jumping over rocks and holes like a jack russell terrier chasing after a ball or something. And with her small stature, she could easily be mistaken for some strange looking rabbit to someone further away.

Arriving in time to see a well gathered group, she skidded to a halt panting hard. Bi-colored eyes quickly moved from wolf to wolf, her tail wagging hard when she spotted three of her siblings there. She was happy to see her mom and dad together again, but what caught her eye the most was the sulky guy in the back. Why was her cousin sitting all alone like that? Did he have no friends? Was everyone mad at him? Oblivious to the fact that he was there because he wanted to be alone, Kairi sauntered over to him and plopped right down. "Hey! Why're you sittin' here by yourself? Can I sit with you? I haven't seen you in foreeevveeerr! Where've you been? Were you on an adventure? Do you wanna go on an adventure with me!? We could go treasure hunting!" She pelted him with questions, the fact he was punished unknown to her.

His morning had started off early, despite his desire to remain at his mate's side. He had his duties to preform and his morning routine to go through. He liked his new rank, though he was finding that he did miss his freedom of just having his hunting duties to preform. Though the extra responsibilities kept him busy so that he always felt like he had enough to do within a day. There was extra weight on his mind today, mulling over what had happened to Jewel. It was nothing he could have prevented unless he had traveled outside of the pack with her. Honestly there was really nothing he could do about it at this point because the male had been long gone. He needed to focus on the here and now and try to keep Jewel feeling comfortable and safe living within Abaven.

This was her second incident, but Frost knew the young women had a heart of gold. He knew that heart of gold would also lead her to trouble because of the dangers of the true world around them. Perhaps he needed to fill her in, teach her to continue being her kind self, but weary of strangers. He wasn't sure of Zell had taken on the role of being the girl's father and Faite had just returned from her long trip. This whole situation gave him things to think about to try and prepare others for the world. With Jewel being pregnant there would be little ones running around soon enough and he would have to consider how to prepare the youth for the real world and to make sure they stayed from trouble. He knew Torin was helping her, but Frost also wanted to help. Besides who didn't love kids?

Zell's howl brought him back from his thoughts and intently listening to the call. He was far from the meeting spot Zell had chosen and knew it would take him some time to get there. Fight training would be good, especially with everything going on and it was a good idea for the male to call one. He just hoped everyone would show up. Picking up his pace the tall male took off in a run, hoping to still get to the meeting in a timely fashion. When he arrived most were already gathered, which he was glad to see. He moved over to Stardust and sat beside her giving her a gentle nuzzle to the neck in greeting. He was curious to see what the training would be about and waited for Zell to start.

I'll show you how a heart can never fail

It was easy for him to lose track of time some days. He'd get lost in thought on a border patrol and an hour or two would go by before he realized how late it was getting. Today was one of those days - he almost didn't hear his father's call ring out to the pack. He abandoned his patrol as quickly as he dared, stopping to make sure there were no unsavory scents along the way, before he headed to the meeting. Despite the fact he hadn't exactly rushed to where Zell had summoned them from, he still wasn't late, but from what he could see the majority of the pack had arrived. All of his siblings had beaten him there as well as his mother, Frostbite, and Star. The lack of Hailey's presence was evident and his lips furrowed into a tight frown. His mother had accepted the friendly healer into the pack, but he had no qualms about letting her go either. She'd failed to be an active member and by this point Rory didn't see the use in keeping anyone in the pack who wasn't going to pull their own weight.

He shoved such thoughts aside and instead offered a friendly tail wag to both his parents before he padded over to Kairi who seemed to be pestering Miach. His cousin had a rather sour look on his face and Rory barely held back a chuckle. Being annoyed by Kairi seemed like an appropriate considering the hell he'd put Faite and Zuriel through. He took a seat next to his sister and with a mischievous grin he leaned in towards her ear.

"Don't forget to ask him who all he met on his travels. I'm sure he made all sorts of friends." He whispered to her. It was his own way of egging her on. It probably wasn't the most adult thing to do, but he was feeling rather vindictive. Miach and Kane were the reason why his mother had left in the first place and why she'd been gone so long.
