It had taken her some time to make her way this far. Though she had obtained Regulus' permission to leave, still she felt it was her duty to make the borders secure before she left. He had entrusted her with a great responsibility, and she intended to honor that trust. But now it was time to find her family, and this pack he said they claimed here.

But when her wandering paws had finally reached the territory he had directed her towards, there was nothing. She vaguely recalled this land as having belonged to a pack called Ludicael when she was a youth, but no trace of either that history nor her own family remained on the former borders.

Troubled, the ivory-and-auburn warrior had draped herself in the embrace of some dry roots to rest and consider her options. Regulus had asked her to gather what knowledge she could about the fates of the packs in this region, since he had not come here in quite some time, so she would not return to Celestial quite yet. This Fiori may have simply moved to a new territory, not disbanded, and there was at least one other pack in the east to visit as well. She would need to speak with locals who would remember what had become of Fiori and her family, and then see to visiting the other pack to reacquaint them. But first, it had been a long journey, and the east much more humid than she had grown used to. A good rest was in order.

The journey to the east had been long, and they had settled a little further from the coast than they had previously. The children were unsettled, worried. Their father, even more so. Stress was rampant amongst the travelers. Thus, the dame needed some time to rest on her own. She returned to familiar grounds, seeking solace. It was a few hours of walking from their current camp, but worth the trip.

Swallowed by the familiarity of the mangrove, the phantom traipsed through the glowing waters. Stirring up silt in her wake. Ducking beneath a low hanging branch, she hummed softly to herself. It was peaceful here, just as it had always been. Before she knew it, the other edge of the territory came into view. Had she really walked all the way through?

Upon the shore, nestled among the roots of a mangrove tree, was another wolf. Oh! The pale woman paused. It looked as though she might be napping. If not that, she was likely trying to get some rest. Paws clad in coal stockings backpedaled as quietly as she could. Best to leave the stranger to her rest. No doubt she needed it, and who was she to determine whether the russet marked wolf deserved it? Hind paw hit against some roots, scraping the rough bark against her heel. "Oof," She grunted softly, crown turning to look at the offending limb.

A sudden, if soft, grunt of pain tore Gwenevere from her thoughts, and the woman's head swiveled to observe the paler female who'd come upon her unexpectedly. Well, that was careless of her wasn't it? Caught napping, so to speak. A fine lead warrior she was. A faintly self-deprecating smile crossed her muzzle at the thought.

"Hello," she called out in a friendly tone, politely raising herself into a sitting position. "Are you all right?" The white female, who Gwen could now see bore coal-black stockings, wasn't anyone she knew. She was of an age with Gwen herself, so it was unlikely to be some previously unknown relative nor even a member of the vaguely-remembered Serecia, so it was little wonder she didn't know her. Still, perhaps she knew what had become of Fiori, unless she herself were a stranger to the lands here as well.

The goddess danced among the knots of roots, her limbs brushing against the ground gracefully her crown lifted as she gave a smile. The woman gained speed she bounded faster than a blur, unmarked by the sight of others she then lifted her front limbs propelling herself into the air. Her forelimbs brushing the leaves one last time, before she kicked up and began to fly over the log that had blocked her path. Her crown lowering under her limbs, before she daintily and silently set down her left limb, then her right. Before both of her forelimbs claimed a silent land, she quickly pulled herself into a cross of all her limbs as if someone was watching her.

The goddess then began to trend lightly over the ground, thorns and sharply pointed sticks, tried to snag at her fur. Yet she always managed to pull away, at the right time. She still kept her manners even though only birds and, little critters where watching. With each step, there came no sound her willowy and graceful silhouette balanced, in a way some could not. Her paws had a way of curving with the leave and pine dusted ground, so they would always make no sound. Her crown held up gingerly with, that. Her toes the separated with every step, her balance was of a goddess like herself.

The goddess then felt the presence of two mortals, she gave way a snort before proceeding to trend towards them. She then looked carefully over them, they both held white with markings. One held black socks, the other a patch of gold along her back and socks with, only a little on her maw, auds and tail. Maybe these Mortals might desire some, fun? Her soft yet song like voice filled the air, "DO YOU GUYS NEED ANYTHING, IT LOOKS LIKE YOU GUYS COULD?" she asked softly, with a smile. Her eyes trained on the, with a warm nod of her crown.

ooc. so late. Like... painfully so. Deeply sorry, guys D:

It appeared that she had, in fact, disturbed the lady who had been resting. However, the pale ginger female bore no malice. Her features twisted into a gentle smile. "Hello," she said, and sat up primly. "Are you all right?" she asked, with the faintest hint of concern in her voice. Those eyes of hers were quite lovely, as she looked into them. They reminded her of her smallest daughter. Gods above, Lirika. You're getting old, comparing fine young women to your daughters instead of expressing attraction. The cruel barb flew through her mind, lodged itself at the forefront of her attention. It was true. Perhaps she was out of her prime, now.

A soft hum uttered itself, and she lifted a dark forepaw to wave dismissively. Flicking some glimmering water to and fro, before replacing it upon the soil. She turned her dark lips up into a warm smile. "Just a little bump," She assured the woman. Her thick accent made it sound a little harsher than she intended, as it did with anything she said. "nothing to be overly concerned about." It didn't hurt too much, at least currently. She turned her head briefly to examine it. No blood dripped from her skin, nor fur torn away. Yes, she'd be fine.

Before much more could be said, yet another wanderer emerged. Pale faced, with ink swathed bodice. Young, comparatively. Wading through the murky water that surrounded them, she took the pair in with violet eyes. "Do you guys need anything, it looks like your guys could?" she questioned softly. For a moment, the phantom turned her attention to the ginger furred woman. After a pause, she returned her attention to the darker female. "I don't believe I do, dear. Thank you." She crooned, the gentle smile returning to her features.
