She was nearly grown into her paws at this point, and her body no longer thin like in the first few months of her time alone. She was doing great for being self taught without any help on the side. Must have come natural to her, maybe it was her bloodlines, who knew. With the heat of the summer the girl found herself growing found of the rivers and lakes. But the temperatures were finally starting to drop and she had to think of how upsetting it was that she would have to survive her first winter on her own. She was in a shallower part of the water, crouched down and watching as the fish grew accustomed to her figure being there as if she were a rock herself. After so long she spotted a medium sized fish, one she could handle but also one that would help her appetite, and slightly pounce with her paw crashing down onto the slippery creature. Her jaws opened quickly as she made contact and just dunked her entire face into the rushing water to pull out her meal. She then made her way up the short bank and into the grasses where she started to gnaw on struggling prey. Walk "Talk" Think

Nabis had wandered to the edge of the orchard, seeking both to satiate his thirst and to watch for his brother. He hoped to touch base with Daemon soon, they had spent nearly two full seasons apart and he was hopeful his brother might have more to show for it than Nabis himself did. The cloyingly sweet scent of slowly rotting fruit had begun to permiate the air of the area they had sought to claim for their own, clearly some of the trees had produced fruit that did not fair well in the heat of summer. A quick dip would also help to clear his head not doubt, he probably stunk of the saccharine scent. Before the river totally came into view the sounds of splashing water reached him, he paused, hesitating for a moment before continuing on, though with some caution. Not that it seemed he would need it. As the river drew into sight so too did a small she-pup. That stopped Nabis in his tracks. He sniffed for a moment, nose turning skywards as he tried to catch the scents clinging to the girl's pelt. He was uncertain in the truth of what his senses were telling him. The girl was alone, any trace of a parent or guardian long since gone. He finally approached again, his posture friendly though he did not lower his guard. "What'd you got there?" He asked, his tone friendly but soft so as not to scare the child away. He kept his mismatched gaze on the child, but his ears remained perked, on high alert for any older wolf that might be less than amenable to his intrusion in the younger one's space. A quick eye flick to the voice as it had startled her, but she wouldn't jump out of her skin. She was a rather courageous girl, especially compared to her brother. But forget that loser, who needed him anyway? "Is my fish! You can't have it!" She went to turn away from the large brute, her tiny vocals spat out at him though she wasn't concerned about starving or anything like that. She won this fish fair and square, he could go scrounge off someone else. Of course he wasn't here to take her meal, but Viper had a knack for throwing wolves away from her. She was quite the little beast and wouldn't hesitate to show how she really felt. A little ball of fury indeed. Walk "Talk" Think

The child jolted slightly, her small form moving to block him from her catch and Nabis chuckled softly. "Don't worry, I won't touch your fish." He settled himself on his haunches from where he was, giving the pup her own space."Caught it all on your own huh?" He asked, his tone was impressed, easier to play to a child's pride than to play to their reason. Not that he was just interested in helping to ease her into letting her guard down, the man was hoping she'd confirm that the girl was alone. An idea was starting to seed itself into his mind, the child was pretty enough and an impressionable child would be easy enough to mold to his mind set, if only there wasn't anyone looking for her. With his most recent acquisition Daemon was well on his way to helping fulfill his family's desires of him and his brother. The warrior had one already but he wasn't stopping there. Though he did feel a need to find his wayward brother and see if he had made any progress as well. Nova would likely turn out more Nabis's style of girl, unless she learned quickly to roll over and submit. Her attitude would need alot of adjusting, but according to what he had learned she would be ready for her first litter in two seasons. The girl would definitely be bred and ensured she remained true to her word that she would be helping him achieve his goals.

He walked with little purpose other than following his brother's scent trail. He had found it earlier that day and had left Nova in a safe keeping place. She was told not to leave it, or there would be consequences. He would maim her if he had to, to prove to her that he meant it when he said he would train her to be a good woman. Women listened and did as they were told, it was exactly what he told her. She had been told as well that if she ran from him he would not hesitate to break her legs.

He came upon his brother finally, his eyes casting to not only him but the girl with him. A pup it looked like, but her scent was off for one. No one clung to her fur as they should. His tail lashed. She would be prime for training if they could convince her to come with them. Nova already had Daemon's scent all over her and he allowed her to sleep beside him so hers could meld to his as well. He was not completely heartless after all. He stepped up silently next to his shorter brother, listening as he tried to confirm what he smelled. His dual tones set themselves on the next acquisition peice for their harem. This girl would be perfect if she could be convinced, though Daemon had no problem taking her by force if nescessary. He stretched himself to lay beside his brother and watch the interaction between the girl and him play out. His brother had the silver tongue and dae had the brute strength.

She would glare at the man with the fish still in her mouth, but would soon continue to knaw on it, "Yeah I did. Who else is ganna get me some fish?" Her mind wouldn't even cross the thought of her mother. Not anymore. She was choosing to forget those of her past. She was no longer a part of Ty and Aranea's litter, and therefor she chose to become her own family. She could provide for herself, so why did she need anyone else? Not too much later another male would approach them, the two looking an awful lot alike but Viper wouldn't state the obvious or even care to think the two even knew each other. "What's up with that guy?" She would ask the original brute, looking up and turning, but still laying down, to eye the even less known man. Walk "Talk" Think

The pup assured him that she had done so by herself, asking who else would catch her a fish and the man's smile widened slightly, though he kept the true joy that brought him hidden. Instead he allowed his brows to shoot up and a look of awe to spread across his face. "Who indeed." He said, shifting slightly on his haunches. "You're very grown up." And there it was, the hook and it was only a matter of time to see it she'd bite. Daemon made his way to beside him and Nabis watched him carefully, but it seemed Daemon had the mind to keep himself quiet for the time being and the pup remarked upon him. Nabis glanced at his brother before turning back to the child, the friendly smile back on his face. "This is my brother," his tone was light and friendly, "We live around here." "Daemon" & "Nabis"
