The goddess took a long breath, her nostrils flared as she began to set off her elegant crown danced, in a graceful circle as she smelt the air. She gave a pleased smile, as her orbs narrowed brows furrowing. And her auds pinned onto her, crown her scruff pulsed carefully over her isthmus. As she glazed forth, and she then sprinted forth growling her lips pulled back as she jumped forward and shredded though a rabbits neck. Before placing her claws onto it meek, lifeless form. She then began to cut the skin, so she could do one thing with it. She then looked for any trees, finding a rare blossoming tree. She didn't care what fruit or flowers grew on it, but she would claim it as hers. She looked at the lowest branch then bounded at the tree, her front limbs curving upwards and then her ankles bended so her paws touched her chest. She the lowered them so she made a graceful landing, before she began to hope from branch to branch, till she was at the most 10 feet from the ground. She then stabbed the rabbit, though a bear branch. She then began to feast, pulling out ever bone till, she was left with a full stomach and some fur that she gladly pushed to the ground. She then let her limbs, sulk downwards so her toes pointed towards the ground. She then wrapped her tail around the branch so she would, be able to sleep. Then and there the black, void of sleep took her away into the lands of dreams. "speaking" |

The smell of blood is what lured the fiend in, as copper scent carried itself on the gently blowing wind- singing him a siren's song that was nearly impossible for him to deny the temptation of. His journey had been quite long, traveling from east to west got tiring. He had food waiting for him once he reached Rock Garden, he was sure of it- that is where he laid his traps, and there had to be something caught in them by now.. but the quality of those meals was never guaranteed.
He would seek out the source of the sultry fragrant he knew to be rabbit, his tracker expertise bringing him to the killpoint first. He found sweet droplets of blood staining the dirt there, telling him what had happened.. along with the strands of a wolf which he recognized to be female. She had made a kill, and he hardly expected there to be anything left of it by now but he was curious.
He followed her scent to the tree, where he found the tossed away fur and bones of the rabbit left on the ground below it's branches. He'd never encountered tree-climbing wolves before, but the way the fur had landed... seemed to be...
Reluctantly, his eyes lifted upward.. scrutinizing as he tried to understand how she'd managed to get up there. He watched her sleep quietly, peacefully, and had half a mind to take advantage. Half. a. mind.
He wasn't evil by his first nature, but those thoughts surely were there as he instinctually preyed upon the vulnerable. Practicing listening to the better whispers of his heart, he turned around and started to leave. He wouldn't prey upon her. He wouldn't. He would leave. He would leave her alone.
It was so tempting, but he did it. His massive skull lowered to align his neck with his spine, his tail flicked behind him at the same level with obvious annoyance in it's body language. He was going to just leave as if he had never come across her in the first place and spare her the lecture that he could give her for being so careless and sleeping next to a kill, practically begging anyone to come and find her. He suppressed a snarl, but he was so inward with his thinking that he carelessly allowed one heavy paw to land on a dried branch at the base of the tree. Snaaaap.
He lifted his paw to find the crushed buds that had died with the branch attached to his foot, the splintering image of the broken branch reminding him of his carelessness. Had she heard? He froze, his ears attentive to what was going on behind him as he patiently awaited some kind of indication on whether or not she had.
