Selene was unsure about this. It was as if the south shouldn't be explored alone. The Soulless Forest... it was chilling. Though the day was warm on the outside, as she crossed into the shadows of the trees, she doesn't really... she doesn't necessarily feel comfortable with it. Company would have been ideal. Selene shivered ever so slightly. Another place it felt like she shouldn't be, but she would explore it none the less. Everything needed to be seen and explored, everything needed to be lived. A careful jog over ever ground, until hitting the area where the moss and undergrowth took over. Everything smelled earthy, a low fog obscuring her ever so slightly. Things were strange, bizarre, but she was okay with that. She was trying her best to be okay with that. Selene moved through the undergrowth as gracefully as she could, picking and scrambling. He had never been here before, but he wasn't afraid. The forest was dark, mist clung to his pelt as he trekked through the lightly fogged forest. The place was silent. Not even birdsong penetrated the air here. Outside of these woods the sun was hot and bright. But in here? It was a whole other world. Light seemed to hardly penetrate the canopy as the silence was deafening. But still, he pressed on. Crimson gaze swept his surroundings, ears moving to and fro as he listened for any signs of approach. So far, it seemed he was alone.

Large paws stepped carefully over gnarled roots, the trees twisting up in a fashion akin to a horror scene. Maybe if he had still been an innocent little kid, he would have been afraid. But he wasn't. He wasn't afraid of anything. Caught up in looking up at the trees, he didn't notice the other who blended in so well with the surrounding forest. Not until his foot slipped on the moss and he slid a few short feet down a small slope, potentially sliding him right into her.

Selene was wrapped up in the world around her. Things were so strange here, beautiful, haunting. Stepping high, trying to maintain her grace. It was something that she couldn't hold back, something she couldn't fight. Tangled undergrowth that would be as deep as her elbows, should she let herself sink in. Something beautiful, something grand. Her head tossed slightly, making note of all sorts of trees, springing up around her. Picking as carefully as she can, but it was slow going. Today's exploring journey would take some time, as the moonscorned has already figured out. That was okay. She was fine with that. And then there was someone... oh jeeze.
