Lydia bounced along the roots of the willows with a spring in her step. Upon her back bounced the leather pack she'd found in the range. It was a perfect fit and more than suitable for storing the herbs she gathered. No longer did she have to rely on peppering the land with hidden storage dens or limiting herself to smaller areas. Bending her head she leaned down to lap up the cool water. The late afternoon sun was warm but the breeze that filtered through the willow leaves was cool and spelled richly of autumn. She was on the hunt for some horsetail to bind wounds. So far it had eluded her but she knew she was in the right sort of environment to find it.
