He was on one of his traveling explorations. He always felt the need to collect what information he could and to meet anyone he could. You never knew who you could run into out and about. Moving along he found this territory rather luring. Something seemed to beckon him here and the place itself had some sort of odd energy. It was both scary but highly curious. He moved carefully through the territory, checking out every inch. Taking in everything he could and processing all the sights and smells that he could.

He came to the shrine and his head raised, eyes taking in the odd formation, trying to analyze it and figure out what in the world it was. Eyes looked over every surface of stone, every marking within the stone before he carefully moved forward for a closer look. What in the world was this place?

Always hungry, the pup never ceased his search for food, anything he could find. But when he came upon the bone-white trees of the strange forest, he paused, seating himself as he looked to the canopy. He'd never seen anything like it, and at once he realized that there was magic in these woods. It took precedence over his rumbling belly. He needed to find where the magic came from and feel it in his own paws. His head turned, and through the trees he saw a faint glow. There! That had to be the source. Jareth was on his paws at once, bounding without grace through the forest, his ocean-green eyes fixed on the distant glow.

When he came upon the faintly glowing pond surrounded by unnatural stone formations, he spotted the other being that was already there. Slowing his pace, he wandered over to the stranger, peering up at the strangely marked stone that the wolf was investigating. "There's magic here," the strange boy stated, "Do you know its secrets?" Perhaps if this wolf knew about it, he could make his claim on it sooner. He knew he had much to learn if he wanted to grasp and use the magic of the natural world, but that wouldn't dissuade him from trying now.

He didn't move to much more before a sound captured his attention. The drumming sounds of paws coming towards him. They didn't sound like a large wolf, he turned his head to look in that direction. He didn't expect to see what was flying towards him, a pup! He came over and began to investigate the same stone he had been and Frost looked down to him, the burning question of where his parents were was threatening to surface. He couldn't say anything before the boy began to speak..... of Magic? Frost would openly admit something about this place felt entirely different, but magic?

He had never seen what Magic looked like or smelled like so he wasn't really sure if it was magic or not. The boy seemed sure that it was though and right now he didn't have any statement to argue against it. He also wanted to know if Frost knew it's secrets, which he didn't know at all. He was in question if all this was even reality let alone know any secrets of it. Turning to look back at the stone he gazed for a moment or so longer before looking back down to the boy.

"I'm sorry.... I do not know it's secrets, in fact I don't know to much about this place at all," he replied.

Jareth eyed the older male carefully, not knowing whether or not to believe the wolf's response. What if he knew things and was simply refusing to share his knowledge? The boy's lips drew tight as his silence persisted for several moments. At last he snorted, a displeased look upon his face. "Well, I won't stop until I find the secrets," he said, looking up at the stone nearest to them. Inching closer, he reared up so that his forepaws could rest on the stone and he could get a closer look at the runes marked into it. He eyed the markings for a moment, then craned his neck around to look at the shimmering spring. He could see the reflections of the stones in the water's surface and his brow furrowed thoughtfully.

He brought his paws down and glanced up to the male beside him. "It must all mean something," he insisted, gesturing to the markings, "This pool has something to do with it, too." The boy was sure that the eerily glowing water and surrounding stones were linked. If he could just find out exactly what it meant, he was sure he could access the powers that this place held. His eyes gleaming with curiosity, the boy wandered over to the water's edge, peering deep into the glow. Fascinated by what he saw, he grinned. He saw familiar scenes of his own short history, and he was certain that it held deeper meaning.

He turned to face the other wolf, his greenish eyes peering at the male, the pupil in his left eye dilated as always, adding to his wild and serious gaze. "Come look," he beckoned to the male, "What do you see?"
