Neat, meticulous, and all too perfect in its form, such places as the Springs always left Kleio wondering: just how natural were these spots, and how did they manage to come into being as they existed now? As she approached the bank, the femme found herself pausing in awe of the circle of trees about this newfound sanctuary, tracing with her eyes the wall of brush until her gaze left then returned to her own flank. A flick of her ear and a sampling of the air with her nose before she brought her attention forward again and continued forth, toward a spot of short grass.

It was there that she settled onto her belly with a sigh. Gingerly she dipped her paws into the steamy water, wincing at first as it rushed between her toes and shocked the skin...but after a few seconds, the soreness of her seasoned pads seemed to melt away, leaving her lying upright but somewhat limply upon her outstretched forelimbs. Once, twice her ears turned about, freezing abruptly upon hearing a faint rustling. Half-lidded eyes shifted toward the direction of the sound. Who had come to join her? Surely not one of her sisters, or she would have pressed past all the aches and pains in her feet to force closeness between them once again.

He had been traveling literally all day and the digging off and on had worked his muscles. He was a bit worn out and since he was this far he went in search of the hot springs. He knew the springs would ease his muscles. Even though it was summer and rather warm to begin with, he was still going to submerge himself in the hot springs. He had left his satchel in a safe place that he would pass on the way home and he was feeling rather odd without the human made thing on him. He didn't want to get it or the contents wet, so it was better to leave it behind.

His pace was even, not rushing himself but not going slow either. He wanted to get there, spend a little time, then head home for a good night's sleep. He would need it in order to keep up with what he wanted to do. He had a lot of work to do and it would take every little bit of his time to get them done. He was getting closer and closer to getting his pack up and running and he was running out of time on getting other things done.

Soon he had arrived at the outskirts of the springs and he moved past the borders towards the pools as he grew closer a fresh scent lingered within the moist air of the springs. He let out a quieter bark so he wouldn't startle the other. He was warning the other of his presence. When the other wolf came into view he smiled and his tail wagged in greeting.

"Mind if I join you?" he asked.
